Three team trade bout to go down!

http://www.1500espn.com/sportswire/Sources_No_deal_yet_but_Jamal_Crawfor...

Minnesota gets Jamal Crawford, LA gets Beasely, and Portland will get Steve Blake and possibly a pick. This trade is basically done except for approval. How do you think it'll affect each of these three teams in the second half of the season??

Would have much rather

Would have much rather enjoyed LAL getting their TPE involved and adding Felton with it. Something else has to be in the works. No way LAL intends on having Fisher play MORE minutes and having Glock and Morris play the bulk of backup PG minutes. I'm assuming a second deal for Sessions or the signing of Arenas. Only thing I could picture realistically happening.

I don't know why Portland

I don't know why Portland would do this deal unless they are getting a 1st round pick.

Why is Portland doing this trade??

They lose Crawford's $5 million expiring deal and gain a first round pick and Steve Blake????

Blake is shooting 37% on the season and his contract costs $4 million through next season. They should get another first round pick out of this instead or make the deal seperately with the Wolves, cause through this trade, they lose cap space and an expiring contract for an old point guard.

Although Beasely is bit of a

Although Beasely is bit of a head case the guy has all-star potential. I think the Wolves should of held off, I don't think Crawford is the answer really

Lakers should try to grab

Lakers should try to grab Sessions. I don't know how it hasn't happened yet, Lakers NEED a PG and Cavs should trade Sessions before becomes a FA this summer.

updated news .... Luke

updated news ....

Luke Ridnour was identified in reports by ESPN and Fox Sports Ohio as a potential target of the Lakers and Blazers in the upcoming trade for Jamal Crawford.

This would be a step down in both cases, primarily because Ridnour is set to flourish in Rick Adelman's friendly system, though landing with the Lakers next to Kobe would cause the biggest hit. Ramon Sessions, Jose Calderon, Raymond Felton, and D.J. Augustin are all point guards on the carousel right now, so we'll have to see who goes to which team first before delving too much in the fantasy impact of any of them.

I actually think this is a

I actually think this is a good trade for the Wolves, if Crawford works out great, resign him, if not let him walk and use the money on a free agent. The whole point of them trading Beasley is to get Williams more minutes who has been playing really well lately. I love this Wolves team, Rubio, Williams, Love and Pekovic is an awesome starting 4. Pity noone likes living in Minnesota I would love Eric Gordon to sign there. Thats a great young starting 5.

As a pistons fan I would have

As a pistons fan I would have jumped at the chance to do ben gordon for beasley if the wolves are looking for a combo guard who loves to shoot ala crawford

As a wolves fan I would

As a wolves fan I would almost prefer it if the wolves brought on board Gordon over Crawford. Crawford has always seemed very ball-dependant and the wolves have great ballhandlers in jj barea luke ridnour and next year Rubio. Gordon is a great scorer, shooter, younger and is very effective off the ball...

I don't like this deal for

I don't like this deal for the wolves very much.. They get rid of a player with all-star potential in Beasley who has been playing incredibly efficient (45%fg 43%3p) and in my view really coming into his own this year, for a ball dependant guard who likes to shoot. Beasley has shown time and again his raw ability to score and is basically the biggest (most consistent) threat from range the wolves have. Not to mention the fact him and Williams have seemed to really feed off of each other and have pretty good chemistry developing. And he's only 23. He could just turn into the post Kobe answer if kobe ever retires... All in all I don't like the long term view of this deal from the wolves perspective... Portland I'm not so sure is very much better off either.. For the lakers it's great..

There's no way Beasley and

There's no way Beasley and Randolph are enough to get Gordon. I don't believe in Ridnour being involved at all with Rubio out and will believe that part of it when I see it.

Another Lakers Thief right there

I cannot believe The Wolves just gifted The Lakers an All Star Sf/Pf...If Beasley plays up to his potential then The Lakers just got another Steal...Why do the other 29 Teams allow this to happen every year...No one had a better offer for The Wolves than Steve Blake??? I don't believe That Shyt for 1 second...This is another sign of The NBA propping up The Lakers...At Least we get see Beasley on a Bigger stage, maybe then people will see how wrong they were about him...

I think someone told Kahn that Crawford was a combo guard, not a real PG...

Rubio went down, making the trading of Ridnour extremely unlikely.
