so interesting to watch, haven’t seen Renardo in a long time..the guy has 13pts4rbs after first half, he still has the same enormous talent..he has excellent touch he is super strong his foot work is nice his post moves is nice and he is really athletic considering he is pretty fat still..

if he ever had at least a half Harrison’s work ethic or at least a half of Gilchrist’s motor he would be the best in the nation no doubt and most likely a top pick…however……

I agree. The dude’s got arguably more talent than any big guy in the nation (yes…possibly even a higher ceiling than Sullinger). He makes low post play look so easy and effortless…when he wants to. The last time I watched him, he put in so little effort on D, there may as well have been a fathead of him on the court rather than him. He’s also got the whole Al Jefferson “Black Hole” syndrome going- he’s an absolute ball-stopper who doesn’t really look for anyone but himself when on offense.

The dude’s seriously got talent to be one of the best big men in the nation. The effort is not even close to there though

Watched him in the NCAA tourny last year and was absolutely blown away…. He can extend the floor, has a very solid jumpshot, has an array of post moves to go along with his big frame. He has a chance to be a very nice player the league, whatever team drafts him will be very happy.

Everyone knows about Sidney’s talents..Scouts and GM’s concerns are his attitude, weight issues and work ethic…John Lucas said Sidney’s the most talented player in his camp outside of Lebron and Kobe..And Lucas has had some all star caliber talent in his camp..I think he’s more talented then any player in the country..And 1 of only 4 guys that i think have the talent to be franchise players…But No way will anyone waste a lottery pick on him..Maybe team with veterans like Boston,Miami or The Spurs will take a chance on him late in the 1st round..A player of his skills you have to give a shot…

Gaining weight between the end of last year and the start of this one doesn’t help Sidney’s cause. There is no denying he can play himself into shape this year, but how much investment should a team want to place in someone who is going to play that game. Michael Sweetney, Eddy Curry, and Sean May were and still are great talents. The weight issues turned them into jokes. It just isn’t something that can be overlooked with Sidney.

with the weight issues and that nasty fight, not to mention character issues with the whole USC thing, he just has too many negs against him in such a short time.  he is a guy who will have to play his way into people’s favor.  right now, most GMs will probably pass on him in the 1st round…..but 2nd round he is a steal.

with that being said he really shouldnt be that big though, he needs to be around 270

I see Lamb and Barnes as all stars..But Perry Jones,Drummond,Sidney,Anthony Davis and Rivers have the skills to be the better prospects down the road…..
