There are people on here they doubt I know my stuff yet people can bring back stuff I said from before last year
Dang Tony I aint seen you in a minute. What you been up to man.
I would be called racist for saying something like that because somehow posters think I am racist. Every other day I talk about the same stuff I talk on here to my homie who is white and everything is cool. I come on here and say the same stuff, I am racist.
I dont know anything about basketball because I said something about someone favorite player or something.
wat the hell happened? i wouldnt take anyone too serious on here. most of these people are clowns. half the people that post, im shocked that they are even interested enough in bball to post on here, seeing as they know 0 about bball.
filter i need you to read up. Who actually brings up race man. Just because I comment, does not mean I bring it up. Spam I dont know you and obviously with your comment you think you know me. I dont know you as a poster to say anything about you. I have no idea what you know.
Dont criticize me until you can actually put something out there so I can tell you that you have no idea what you are talking about in basketball.
I actually asked people to bring up facts to back their opinions.
I brought actually studies and numbers to most of the race things I have mentioned.
People came out with numbers afterward that did not make sense.
Knicksboy made a forum topic and race
I have never done that.
All I did was respond to other people's post.
You are right AllDay.
I am tired of this whole you are racist thing.
Let's kill that.
Knicksboy never made it, it was Knicksfan. A fine topic thread, that was thought provoking. I am not criticizing you at all, but I have observed that you are defensive in your posts as well as someone who never feels they are wrong and is always write.
Sheltwon.... he's as needy as a 14 yr old girl. Please hug me and tell me what I want to hear...... blah blah friggin' blah!!!! Carve my f-in' eyes out so I can't read the preschool drivlle.
Steve you are the one that needs attention man. I already have enough unwanted attention. You are tough on the internet, you are probably some skinny sickly dude that can't get women so you try to come at me so you feel special.
If basketball was not such a big part of me I would not be on this. I mainly get online to do basketball.
Steve you always have comments. Most dudes that say stuff like they can clown are joke and be on the internet are either short, fat or really skinny. If you have something personal against me then bring it for real don't hide behind this internet.
Misery love company and I can tell you must be miserable.
I am good.
My Lakers won and will win the whole thing.
My Saints won.
You are missing the point...... enough already And for the record I wish I was a sickly dude. I'm just the opposite whether I want to be or not. I think you are well intended with a side of intelligence... you just don't know when to quit. LOL.
I am here to talk basketball. I am too old for these kids game. I play playstation, Wii or PC if I want to play games. I take basketball seriously. At on point I would be on that Kobe stuff and breaking down players move by watching them. I don't do that anymore. I used to rewatch nba drafts to see if they players became what I thought they would and why they didnt.
This is just what I do with my free time. I love basketball like that so it is hard for me to not be passionate about that game
I have some much basketball info in my head that I have to let it out and sometimes I mistype.
I could probably talk hours and I do about basketball.
There is other stuff I could be doing but this is what I enjoy but then I have to get on here and all of a sudden I am racist because I said something about a white player.
Some of you, Steve included are basing stuff about me that happened in a two week span.
I was not considered a racist until I started talking about Hayward.
Steven life is a gift.
That is how you see it.
We still beat the Colts and there is nothing anybody can say about that one.
The Vikings Saints was a tough call but we won.
Should I think we are not good because of what you said.
I think Saints will make it to the Super Bowl again.
I don't know if they will win but I feel they will get there again.
I could be wrong but I stand by my statement and if I am right.
You can say I called it.
I am not a fan that does this every year.
I feel this coming year was the year we were going to win it but we won it earlier than I expected.
I thought last year we were too young but we started out on fire and never let up.
When did I call you a racist? I can honestly tell you I have never in my life referred to anyone in that manner. Choose your words carefully.... they can paint a portrait of yourself you might not like.
Sheltwon i think your intelliugent about the game of basketball, but you need to stop accusing these people of being racist.
You say Larry Bird is racist. Wheres the proof? and yet you defend yourself when people accuse you of being racist.
I mean when has Larry Bird says he wants nba players on his team? i mean he has as many white players as the Lakers, is Jerry Buss racist?
If his ''racism'' is true, and him wanting white players badly why did he pick a high upside, bad attitude guy who was black with the seventeenth pick a couple years ago? i mean hes out of the league now, but hes not racist (maybe a bad gm).
To me it seems like whenever you get into quarrels you bring the racism factor into it. You gotta stop it dude.
You need to talk about basketball which you know, basketball, its foolish to go around calling people racist on a basketball forum, i think your a good poster but just my opinion.
I never said Larry Bird is racist. I said he reaches for a lot of white players. I dont know if he is racist or not though.
Steven where did I say you called me a racist.
Either read my whole posts or don't.
You are accusing me of stuff I have never done.
Therevenger, you are accusing me of saying stuff I did not.
I have said the same thing about Larry Bird to my white friend and he agrees with me.
I keep up with the drafts all the time and every year Larry Bird is said to be trying to get some white players.
It could be for the fans like he says but those moves are hurting his team.
I have posted over 3000 and maybe less than 20 posts have been about race and most of them were replies to something someone said to me.
Since you are saying this about me, go back and grab the post where I just randomly say stuff about race other than this whole Larry Bird and Hayward thing.
If you post over 3000 posts sometimes race may come up because race plays a part in a lot of what people do and don't do.
You may not believe what I saying but it is true.
I looks up Larry Birds draft history.
Hes chosen thirteen players in thew draft for the Pacers.
Hes chosen on ''true'' American white player (Hansbrough).
Two international players who are white (both in the second round).
and ten African Americans.
Thats about the average white/black/international ration that most teams have. (maybe less white players).
Steve your jokes are terrible and despite my passion for basketball. There are other sites I could go on. If i was really upset or hurt by some of the things people say on here, why would I come back. Some of yall are annoying because I can't focus on quality posts without people nagging and trying to bait me into something.
At about 11:33 pm it sounded like you did or might have called me a racist..... you tend to ramble a bit and I don't have a lawyer with me to help me keep up with all of the facts that you post straight.
therevenger
How many times will I say this.
You are right looking at the numbers.
He actually wanted to get more white players than that but they got drafted before he chose.
He wanted Morrison, Jackson, and even Redick. Redick would not have been a bad move.
He trade for like 3 or 4 white player in like a two year span.
That Shanelle Williams thing did not make sense at all.
It was a bad pick on some many levels and it was a pick Larry Bird does not normally make.
I really don't understand that pick
Steve I was not talking to you or about you in that whole posts and my comment was
I was not considered a racist until I started talking about Hayward.
I mentioned you in the statement above as being someone that is basing a lot of stuff about me from posts in a 2 week span
during the school year, I rarely posted.
Also what is up with this rambling stuff.
I am trying to keep the peace but I figure you are messing with me because you are getting response so this is the last one.
Portland actually wass the team that wanted Morrison, i googled ''larry bird wanted morrison'' and all it came up with is Portland wanting him.
And also i read Reddick wanted to be traded to the Pacers.
Foster was there before Bird was there gm. Mcroberts was a throw-in in a deal.
When Murphy, and Dunleavy got traded maybe it was a little racist, but the main reason was because the swap fitted both teams needs.
Therevenger if you think I am making this up than go ahead with it man, I remember stuff from draft to draft. Those players were high on his list and they went before he could take them.
You dont have to believe me but I am not going to change what I said or think.
That is why I said let's move on.
You are trying so hard to prove to me something I know to be true by looking up old articles.
Go look at all the drafts and see where Indiana picked versus where those players were picked. You probably can not find a article because Indiana may not have had a chance but it was mentioned in so article or newspaper that Larry Bird was interested in players I have mentioned
I am done on this point.
If it makes it easier to you to believe I am a racist then do so.
I am done.
I never said your racist, dude when did he say hes looking for white players? i might agree if their proof, heres something he did say.
"I don't see race at all," Bird said recently. "I know a lot of it comes out of The Brawl — people think Indiana has to get all white guys — but I don't buy any of that. I played in Boston where it didn't matter who came in or who left, it was who helped us win. (Late Celtics coach and architect) Red (Auerbach) never saw color. And I don't either. I just pick them. It we hadn't taken Tyler Hansbrough, it would have been Ty Lawson. And if I could have gotten another pick (later in the first round), I would have taken Sam Young or Wayne Ellington."

The thing is Donnie Walsh was in charge of the trades, while Larry Bird was pretty much in charge of the draft.
So i mean is Donnie Walsh racist? he did draft Gallenari, and trade away a bunch of African American players.
Lol just kidding.
If Larry Bird was a racist.... how would it change your life? Do you think you could get over it? You might be able to use some coping skills. Personally.... I couldn't care less about others opinions. I think, I actually care more about my poor spelling and english/punctuation skills.

or before a playoff series and I tend to be right. Just so that I have people attention before the season starts I will get my take and you can break down if I am right or not.
The only thing people throw in my race about being wrong about a player and that was Ramon Sessions who is not as bad as his stats showed last year but I will take that.
Since I dont have a clue what is going on, why dont people find posts that I made before and see where I was not right.
Also I have never made a post about race and I don't bring race up in my posts. Other people do.
It would appear that anytime I talk about white players, I am a racists.
Let's kill this race BS.
I am trying to just let that stuff go and move on to basketball topics but it would appear some of you on here will not let that die.
Since you all know so much about me then make your predictions as well and we can see who is actually right by the numbers and not based on popularity.
