What are these guys trade value? With the cap rising significantly these two players are on really good deals.

Rudy Gay (Age 29)has two years and $27.6m on his contract while Thad Young (Age 27) has 3 years and $38.8m on his deal.

If Portland misses out on Al Horford then I think they should target Thad Young as he would provide inside scoring which is lacking in Portland and holding them back. After this year Portland has its 1st round draft picks plus the Cavs pick in 2018. What would it take to get Thad Young?

For some reason I really like Rudy Gay, and I want to see him on an up tempo team. He had a down year under Coach Karl but had his best year the year before under Coach Malone who is with Denver now.

I wouldn’t mind seeing either in a Pacers uniform at the 4-spot, I am more fan of Young’s game than Gay’s. Indiana wants to play faster though and Gay may be the guy to put next to Turner as he can protect the rim and not be as heavily relied on to score just yet.

On top of that Indiana would still have the money to go after a PG like Conley. I would assume that Kings go in a rebuilding direction, so Indiana could offer Stuckey (same contract length for $5mil less), Young and 20th for Rudy Gay. Same sort of deal for Thad Young as he has an extra year on the deal, but I think cutting some salary and getting a pick in return would be nice start for Marks.

The teams make ask for Hill as he has expiring contract, but I wouldn’t be willing to give that up.
    C.Turner PF.Gay SF.George SG.Hill PG.Conley? with Ellis and Miles off the bench.

Rudy gay on the clippers would be a nice fit..or maybe the Suns. Seems to make every team I think of more mediocre he’s on.

rudy gay on clippers would be a match made seriously , that’s what they really need.

I don’t understand. The Kings played the fastest pace in the NBA, thus they could be considered an up-tempo team. If he had a down year with the fastest team in the league then what suggests he would thrive in an uptempo system elsewhere?
