Yandyhere2ParticipantIm going to go out on a limb and say he will start this year and after Russ leaves he will be the man at Louisville and be out to the NBA after next year. He’s a friggin BEAST.

SiggyParticipantHe is really good. He doesn’t get much mention in this class since he took an extra prep yr. He’s good enough to scare off other guard commits. As far as him starting this yr, I can’t call it. Russ will definitely start, but IDK who would start next to him. Chris Jones could earn the spot too and I doubt Pitino would start all 3 small guards.

Yandyhere2ParticipantI honestly think Jones may get the nod at the beginning only because of the hype he’s bringing in(Two time JUCO player of the year) but by mid season or late in the game when it counts Rozier will be playing. He can do everything Jones can do, but he’s bigger and I believe a better scorer than Jones and he’s only a freshman, while Jones is a JR.

SiggyParticipantI don’t think scoring will be an issue in the starting lineup. They need someone who can run the offense and direct traffic. Russ, Jones AND Rozier are all score first and quite frankly, shot happy. Whoever proves to be the steadier hand, better at taking care of the ball and distributing it will win the job. Like I said, I can’t call it since being that type of PG isn’t either Jones or Rozier’s forte.

Velvet HoopParticipantWith Russ Smith, Chris Jones, Terry Rozier and Anton Gill it is easy to see why JaQuan Lyle and Quentin Snyder decided to decommit.
However, with Russ being a senior and Pitino & Keatts saying that Jones may be one and done, it may be Rozier and Gill in the backcourt in 2014 just like they were at Hargrave. Plus they already have Shaq Aaron committed for 2014.

Professor RozayParticipantThis is great for Pitino. I love the new guards that are coming to the team. I think that Rozier is going to be a really good player. I need to see which one of these guys are going to put there scoring on hold a little bit and become a floor general. Because as much as I like the guards we have to have somebody to get the ball to the other guys.

Rcmason1ParticipantRozier is good guard but if you talk to anybody in that program they will tell you that Chris Jones and Russ Smith are the alpha males on that team. Rozier will be a really good 3rd maybe 4th if Kevin Ware gets back with a chance to be a starter next season. That said Louisville is loaded and if Jones and Smith mesh they have great shot to repeat.
