MalcolmxParticipantI see that after Nike skills academy Terry Larrier has now found his name on the mock draft as the 21st pick. Being from New York I’ve see him numerous times and know some people in his inner circle. Solid kid off of the court that grew up pretty rough. When he transferred from VCU to UCONN I felt that is Hamilton left he’d have a fair shot to do enough to get himself selected in the first round of the 2017 draft. I feel the kid is that good of a player. He is a 6’8 small forward that can handle the ball, throw in floaters, shoot the long ball and the mind range as well as have the athleticism and lateral ability to guard 2’s and 3’s. He’ll be an interesting Eval this year. Any thoughts on him as a prospect???

Terry Larrier – VCU – SG/SF – Fr. – Ht. 6-8 – Wt. 185
Have not heard his name being talked about too much for this years draft, but will probably pick up steam in the next year or two.
Long, athletic wing player that plays on a deep VCU team. Has range out to the 3-point line. Has the athleticism and body to be a lock down defender. Needs to tighten up his handle. Once he does he will be able to drive in the lane more consistantly. Doesn’t take more then a couple dribbles before he passes or shoots. Has to hit the weight room. Very thin. Averaging about 15 mpg right now. Could be a good rebounder. Tends to hang around the perimeter at times.

ph90702He’s the rare D1 transfer first rounder. I can’t think of the last player to do that.
