Agreed CodySLC! Terrence Jones is gonna be a special small forward. His point guard skills are better than some of these point guards in this draft. He won't drop any lower than the top 8.

You can bet your ass if the Kings don't get a hold of Kyrie irving, they will be looking at him. That or Brandon Knight.

Although he's had a good year

Although he's had a good year for a frosh, he looks pretty average to me, in terms of his game translating to the league. He can be good, but I wouldn't use the term "special". His game reminds me so much of Shawne Williams when he came out after his lone season at Memphis. Should be a solid pro. That being said, in this weak draft, he probably shouldn't be lower than 10, but this thing is real fluid, and will change many times. If he tears it up in a couple games in the sec tourney, watch Aran move him to 3. We shouldn't overreact to this..

Yeh i saw that, i can't see him going much lower than 8. I think 5-8 will be about right...

I definitely wouldn't be complaining if I saw him in a pistons uniform next season :)

I have a hard time seeing

I have a hard time seeing Terrence Jones be anything more then a solid role player in the NBA. He doesnt really have a skillset of a 3 man in the NBA and he would be a very small 4 man. And Unlike Derrick Williams, I dont see much role player potential...by that I mean, can he be a screener, a good defender, a garbage man type of guy, and I just dont really see it. He doesn't look like a SF to me, and I think there are a bunch of PFs I would take ahead of him. So to see him outside of the top 10 doesnt shock me that much.

I think tweener is the worst

I think tweener is the worst word you can use when evaluating draft prospects. When I want to draft someone I'd want a player with a defined role that can translate to the NBA. When looking at Jones I don't see one skill that can translate to the NBA, combine that with being to small at PF and probably not fast enough or good enough shot to play SF, and I don't see how anybody has him in the top. Potential means nothing if you don't show signs of using it effectively.

^ what does last years class

^ what does last years class have anything to do with it. You look at each prospect by themselves. Why would having a good class last year give Knight and Jones more respect?

I don't see it... I don't see

I don't see it...

I don't see him being that good in the NBA, so I won't be surprised if he falls out of the top ten.

I've watched him a lot this season and he's a big time tweener. I agree with the comments of Delfam and Biggysmalls above.
