If you had any doubts if Houston was secure at PF, T. Jones put to rest those doubt tonight. 36 points and 11 rebounds. I thought this guy was underrated coming out because his numbers dipped as Sophmore at UK, but people didn’t realize Jones sacrafised his stats for the better of the team, and UK ended up as National Champs. Jones is an athletic versatile player, who reminds me of Josh Smith, but not as erratic.

This kid is fantastic.  I have no doubts that he could be a Paul Millsap type of player in the future.

He should be thanking Dwight. Dwight has been keeping up with his defensive liabilities

Yeah, it’s easy to point at how much more dominant Dwight should be offensively, but his defensive prowess along with occasional offensive prowess makes it so easy to find someone to play PF next to him.

Regarding Jones, he’s been proving me wrong a decent amount this year.  Having said that, as a Bucks fan, I don’t think I’ll ever say "______ proved he’s legit tonight" when it’s against my team.  They’re just abysmal this year lol.

I still remember when everyone was talkin about him always gettin first in sprints and so determined to win. He was what made that team different from all the other Calipari teams full of NBA bound 1-N-Dones. A true winner that does whatever it takes to win. I think he will just continue to get better and make teams look regret passing him up.

I’m sorry, but has everybody forgotten that he stomped on a homeless guy? I find it really hard to root for this guy when he did that and it’s gone virtually unpunished

He has been an absolute god send for my fantasy basketball team.  He compliments Dwight well.  How nice is it for Houston, they were looking for a PF to play with Dwight.  The , the question was, "’who are they going to trade for?"  They just need to grow and play together.  It would also be nice if Harden didn’t dribble around in circles for 20 seconds of every single possession.

Terrence Jones was one of my favorite players of that draft…I knew he’d be good…

Terrence as a sophomore looked almost identical to Julius Randle right now, physically and how they play…

Maybe my memory is wrong, but I could have sworn one of the big concerns with Terrence going into the draft was that he seemed to coast/didn’t play hard all the time.  That’s about as different as you can possibly get from Julius Randle.

He is definitely a good compliment to Dwight Howard. I think he will improve his 3 point shooting to 33 to 35% for next season which would be a great improvement because it is at 28% this year. He has always worked hard and now that he has confidence and sees how he fits with this team, I think it is just going to make him work harder. He is getting 17pts, 11rbs, and 2blks in 8 games in January. I liked watching him in college and I thought he could be a solid starter in the NBA down the line. His stats are definitely trending up this season. I think houston would be very happy if he averaged 15pts 10rbs and 2blks the rest of the year. To get that from your 5th best player would be fantastic.
