Last year, Andrew Wiggins came to Huntington Prep Academy and had a season worthy of sophomore of the year honors (guessing he may very well have been in discussion for junior of the year if he had reclassified). Well, their is a new sophomore import for Huntington in Montaque "Teki" Gill-Caesar. Of course Wiggins is still the man and Teki may not be at his level, he is just another highflying wing from up north.
Gill-Caesar impressed enough over the summer to be ranked #18 currently on Scout.com's Top 25 for 2015. He also finished second to Wiggins in scoring in Huntington's season opening 73-52 win, picking up 19 points in his debut with the team. Listed on the team website as 6-5/200, Teki should benefit from getting to go against another stud wing prospect in practice.
He has offers from Baylor and Ohio State, with Kentucky, Illinois and Indiana listed as schools of interest. Word was he made an unofficial visit to Kentucky earlier in the year. Kid to keep an eye on and yet another prospect from Canada infiltrating the rankings of top HS talent.
