    I need a list of your favorite team’s needs this offseason because Iabout to make a mock draft

    For me:Thunder:
    – Back Up SF for KD
    – a defensive/rebounding C (could be Serge Ibaka), and if so
    -some more length against other bigs

    Celtics could use an insurance big, bench depth, or guys with potential (ie Whiteside, but he probably wont be available). By bench depth i mean backup g or sf.

    agree with you on those list but I think the need for a backup big man might be answered by Omer Asik whom the Bulls acquired during the 2008 Draft… You might wanna check him out… I’m curious to see what he has to offer for Chicago…

    Hawks:

    * a replacement for Joe Johnson if he leaves
    * a back up small forward- Mo Evans is gone- Childress?
    * a starting center- Horford can move to the 4, his natural position- Haywood? J O’Neal?
    * a backup up bigman
    * a new coach
    * a new offense

    Blazers:

    * get Oden healthy!!!
    * make Rudy available and see what you can get- he obviously doesn’t want to be in Portland
    * resign Juwan Howard- saved this club when all the injuries happend and not a bad emergency PF/C
    * sign a 3rd string veteran PG who knows his role and can knock down jumpers

    Jazz:

    * a new shooting guard- is Wes Matthews/Miles the answer? I don’t think so- Xavier Henry is a perfect fit imo
    * big man in case Boozer leaves
    * a backup center
    * establish a backup PG

      What we could use: another swingman. Especially someone who can be a solid defender and/or can shoot. Matt Barnes is our only possible off season loss of any significance so his toughness and D might be missed. With few holes on our roster we can also afford to gamble on a high risk/high reward type of player in hopes that we get lucky, Ebanks or Lance Stephenson would work in that capacity.

      We could also use a young PG to groom behind Nelson. It’s important to note that we like out guards to have three-point range so guys like Eric Bledsoe or Willie Warren (or Sherron Collins and Jerome Randle in the second round) would be solid fits as well.

      What we absolutely do not need with our first rounder; More bigs! We already have Dwight, Rashard Lewis, Marcin Gortat, Brandon Bass and Ryan Anderson all locked up for at least two more years after this season. And we barely have playing time for some of those guys right now.

    they need a legit scoring small forward, peja is getting two old.
    a backup or maybe a replacement of okafor. bringing him in didn’t help them exactly what they wanted. look for them to try to possibly trade up for maybe ed davis or a athletic big.

    they don’t need a point guard or a shooting guard with collison and thorton from last years draft.

    Dwight, it’s unbelievable how your GM made a decision to sign Rashard Lewis to a ridiculous $120 Million Dollar contract when he is averaging 14 ppg a game and he’s by the way not in the level of Dwight Howard, LeBron James and even Carmelo…

    Ya fizer, one of the worst decisions in the league.

    Rashard is a good player for us but is horribly overpaid and will continue to be for another 3 years, As Rashard and Vince get up in age and take up so much of our salary cap I’m seriously concerned about the future state of the Magic if we don’t win a championship this year or next.

    the nets need john wall…
    we need to trade yi away maybe along with the second first round pick to move up or for a solid big man. then we need to sign david lee which could potentially lead to the signing of joe johnson. finally we need a back up point guard for john wall.
    C- Brook Lopez
    PF- David Lee
    SF- Joe Johnson
    SG- Courtney Lee
    PG- John Wall
    1- CDR
    2- Terrance Williams

    Needs an offensive 4 man or a matural 5 man like JO and move Nene to the 4. trade K-Mart or Birdman for a younger more athletic 4 man like Tyrus Thomas or Amir Johnson. A back up 3 man to run the floor and defend like Ronnie Brewer who managment is high on. If Ty Lawson is our future PG maybe we should look to play him more but if he is going to be a back up then maybe work out a threee way deal with New Jersey(if they get Wall) and another team to get a younger PG here so Melo knows he still is their cornerstone.

    Pacers:
    -A PG for the future
    -More Big Man depth, Hansborough could pan out, but I don’t see it. Foster is coming off a big injury towards the end of his career which = faster retirement
    – A 1st or 2nd option on offense, maybe a free agent in 2011, when some big contracts expire
