Digging up old posts seems like an incredible waste of time, but its also stupid to say "Everyone has players they have high hopes for, and then may end up completely hating them" in this case, when he didn’t say something like "I liked him when he was drafted, but he sucked", he said "I hated him from day 1".

Well I didn’t mean it necessarily in that way. I actually meant more along the lines of we are all wrong at some point about players. We all have those players we really want and have high hopes for and the reality is sometimes they end up sucking.

I approve this thread. I’ve never had any issues with Taylor, but I’ve always felt like there seems to be a ton of Monday morning quarterbacking going on around here. Like a guy gets drafted and no one says anything then 3 years later everyone knew he would suck. Plus reading old posts is fun.

I clicked that link, and was very surprised when I read what I had written. I was shocked because I always hated both Vesely and Singleton as prospects, and I really have no idea what I was thinking when I wrote that…

The only conclusion I can draw was that I had grown so frustrated with Andray Blatche that you could have drafted Jonathan Bender and Korleone Young and I would have said it deserved an A.

I’m caught red-handed – apparently I liked the Wizards draft on that particular day…

Anyways, excellent investigating. I have a question though, did you go digging on purpose to call me out? How long did this take you? I’m fascinated that you were able to find this.

I remember looking through some old posts and being shocked at some of my comments because prospects I thought I’d hated (or loved) the whole time only to see that wasn’t the case. A good example is Tyreke Evans. I feel like I’ve always thought he was a chucker but he was #2 on my big board the year he was drafted. With that said, you should be held accountable for your words on this site because like I stated a few times, people look to this site for information…   Especially these lazy sports journalists we’ve seen lately…  Add the point system too and calling people out seem to balance it out…
