Gotta love this guy. Undersized and undrafted but worked his way up last season. I never saw it during his 3 years at Memphis or lone year at Kansas but he is an elite athlete, super quick hops, great 2nd jump and incredible strength. He makes up for his lack of height with monster length, strength and athleticism. I think he’s gonna have a pretty good career as a backup center in this league.

He’s lucky the league has some more small ball lineups so he can play some minutes at center. I still think he is more of a power forward in the old school kind of way — rebound, box out, put backs, etc.
He will probably out last many people in his draft class even though he wasn’t drafted.

I love this guy on the Lakers and hope he is around for awhile. Good physical attributes and he always plays hard, also doesn’t need the ball in his hands. Perfect 5 man off the bench for today’s game.
