A couple games in here is how its looking:

    1) Philly – horrible.  Guards suck no sense of timing, BB wants to push the ball but his guards are Canaan and McConnell and Thompson and swingmen are Jakarr Sampson and Jerami Grant…these guys can’t run without tripping over themselves let alone finish at the rim.  No IQ.  Horrible.  Clear favorites.  Lose by 30 to the Jazz for your home opener, smdh.

    2) Brooklyn – this team has Brook Lopez Joe Johnson and Thad Young, played the Bulls/Spurs and next the Grizzlies. Not an easy schedule, but I guarantee none of those three wants to play with each other, feel bad for Thad Young.  Brook Lopez and Joe Johnson are probably the least "passionate" players in the game. Boston owns their 1st round pick, smdh.

    3)  Lakers – in the west, just got spanked by the Kings, Kobe taking a back seat already.  They look like a very very young team that has a lot to figure out, and in the west.

    4) Denver – playing in the West but have enoguh solid pieces and Mudiay will win ROY if you ask me.  He is being asked to do a lot.

    5) Portland – Lillard plays too hard, brings up his teammates for them to be worse than 1 – 4 (teams that look frustrated trying to figure it out).

    6) Charlotte – disadvantage is that they play in the East so will win a few games they aren’t supposed to.  But my hope is that they bounce the Lakers out of the bottom 3.  Aside from Jefferson and maybe Kemba, they’re a horrible team.

    7) Orlando – still figuring it out with their pieces but seem to have a higher IQ and good energy, with a solid bigman in Vucevic.

    8) Minnesota – right mix of youth.  I think they feel like they can make a playoff run if Rubio is healthy, but they play in the West.  Boston owns this pick if out of the top 12.

    9) Detroit/Knicks/Milwaukee/Utah/Sacramento/Dallas – fringe teams fighting for playoffs.

    7. Indiana

    8. Knicks/Orlando/Milwaukee/Charlotte/Boston

4 of the last 7 teams are gonna be in the lottery, I think Boston, Milwaukee, Miami, and Indiana are better than Knicks/Orlando/Charlotte…but thats just me.

If you had written that 5 or 6 years ago – Cleveland, Golden State, L.A. Clippers, Washing Wizards & Toronto Raptors – would all be in the 20 something "Tank until we Win" club… Bad teams have an obligation to their fans to draft young talent & let them grow… It’s the same in every sport & has been the method for as long as organized sports have existed…

Unless you want to have Europen Soccer where the Same 2 teams win the Title EVERY year in each country… speaking only for myself, but I enjoy watching the poor teams get young prospects & developing them into mature professionals….

The Sixers will still be the worst team, but better than they’ve been. They still have a few injured. I thought the Lakers would be a lot better, but they lost to the Wolves and were utterly destroyed by the Kings.

Goodrich was the Lakers 2nd leading scorer in 1976… w/o getting into ALL the details I’ll keep this simple… L.A. recieved the Jazz 1979 1st round pick for Goodrich….. The Jazz didn;t care b/c they figured pairing Goodrich w/ Pistol Pete Marovich would make them a contender…

B/c of injuries it never worked out & the Jazz finished in a tie for Worst record in the w/ Chicago in 1979… The League flipped a coin & the Lakers (who owned the pick) won & Chicago picked #2…

the 1979 #1 pick was Magic Johnson – the Bulls picked David Greenwood #2….

In 1980 the Cleveland Cavs offered their 1982 first round pick for the Lakers Don Ford…. you guessed it, the Cavs finished w/ the worst record in the League in 1982 & the Lakers won the #1 overall pick in a coin toss w/ San Diego Clippers…

      1982 #1 pick was James Worthy…

I mention this b/c the Lakers pick that Philadelphia traded MCW to Milwaukie for last winter was Top 5 protected in 2015; Top 3 protected in 2016 & 2017 but in 2018 it is Completely Unprotected… So Phila will get that pick & you just Never know how it will play out… I’m realizing that what Hinkie is doing in Phila really is not all that revolutionary…. Like all things in life, he’s banking on history repeating itself…

The 6ers can thank Special Sam for failing to draft any useful guards last year, and traded his ROY point guard and striking out on the Embiid pick.

The guy royally sucks at this whole rebuild thing. They’ve been running in circles /this team is WORSE off than where they were 3 years ago.

    worst guards in NBA history.

Sam Hinkie can’t get this right.

& who would you have drafted instead of Embiid??? when the players drafted behind him (picks 4 thru 10) have done nothing? In each case it was a prudent move… They wanted Wiggins & almost got him but Cleveland Luckily discovered Embiid’s foot… so they picked the best player available at #3 –

I’m not a Sixers fan & personally I don’t care what happens to their franchise but if you are going to criticize – u have to tell us what you would have done differently?

All of 2013 I read article after article & post after post how New Orleans Fleeced Sixers rookie GM by getting "All Star’ pg Jrue Holiday for "Broken down" Nerlens Noel "who will Never play in the NBA" & a 2014 first round pick that won’t be in the top 20 b/c New Orleans will contend – a year later that 2014 pick was a Lottery pick & Noel looks like a future All Star…

And don’t forget he flipped that #10 pick to #12 by starting a rumor that MCW was on the block – Orlando panicked & gave Phila back their 2017 first round pick that former team President Collins foolishly traded away… & he still got his man Saric…

So who looks silly now that Phila got 3 first round Lottery picks for Jrue Holiday & they also did Not Even have a first round pick in 2015 when Hinkie arrived – did u even know that? I didn’t, I had to research it myself b/c the media doesn;t "Report" they create stories based on Narratives they build…

Collins had traded the Sixers 2015 first round pick to Boston for Arnotte Moultry – Hinkie got that pick back & them landing Okafor was a Miracle 7 u think they should have drafted a dime a dozed Guard?? they have 4 first round picks next June in the 2016 draft – I’m sure they’ll grab a guard… Besides I like Marshal at PG he was drafted #13 in 2012 & he’ll be back from injury in a few weeks…

The Bynum trade Destroyed that franchise – when Hinke arrived they had Only 4 first round picks between 2013 & 2018 & a nucleus of Evan Turner, Jrue Holiday & Thad Young – and now after Only 2 years of a "Rebuild" they have 13 – THIRTEEN – first round picks… 10 of them Lotteyr picks… (Saric, Embiid, Noel, Stauskus & Okafor) & 8 picks – EIGHT – first round picks in 2016, 2017 & 2018 and you think they were better off 3 years ago???

Three years ago former coach Doug Collins had just traded Nic Vucevic, Andre Igudola, 2012 1st round pick  Maurice Harless, the 2015 & 2017 First round picks for ESPN #13 ranked NBA player Andrew Bynum & Arnette Moutry and we know how that turned out – 3 years ago Hinkie was in Houston… So you really want to go with they were better off with THAT team 3 years ago???

Portland and Philadelphia were already looking to next season, and for this season it is development and draft picks.

Minnesota and Orlando think they have added enough young talent and now they can win more.  Lakers are in a holding pattern, waiting to spend a lot of money when Bryant expires and the salary cap goes up.

Brooklyn, playing for draft picks isn’t an option.  Not this year, or the two after.

Charlotte, they do have the roster to make the playoffs.  Denver could surprise, they can score.

Teams that should tank, obviously the still building 76ers, and the Trail Blazers who lost four veteran starters, and the Lakers so they keep a very high pick.  Dallas, if they start losing, they will tank to keep their pick too.

The bad part for Brooklyn, they have a team that would be easy to tank with.  With few solid guards, 76ers can’t help but lose.  It looks like 76ers, Celtics via Nets, and Lakers will have best three chances at winning the top pick in the lottery.

Detroit looks good so I think they make the playoffs over Indiana.  Lakers have more talent than people realize their issue is they are running out of gas in the second half but unlike last team, they are putting up points and doing well in the first half.
