This trade is good for both teams because the Blazers get rid of two guys that are not used properly in Bayless and Fernandez. Bayless is a fan-favorite, but he is not a good fit for the Blazers system.

Fernandez is a talented player on Portland’s roster who is under-utilized, and there have been so many trade rumors that include him.

Portland would receive young and talented PG Johnny Flynn, who would learn behind a solid, veteran PG in Andre Miller.

They would also acquire Corey Brewer, who is a great defender and can shoot 3’s.

Oh and Kosta Koufus is included.

Bayless is a better fit in the system then Flynn…..Brewer wouldnt start for the team and is probably not as a good as Babbitt

For the Blazers i really like Flynn, but hes not a great fit next to Roy, i would consider this deal, except we already have Batum, and Babbit at the 3, also Matthews, and Cunningham could get minutes there too.

I wouldnt be mad if we did this.

The trade sounds equal as far as talent goes… the Wolves would be foolish to make more trades before finding out how all of the knew players play together. Portland should be apprehensive about making the trade for Flynn before seeing how his hip surgery went.

the trade is fair talent wizw but i dont know if that will really help the blazers.
thier already stacked on the wings and koufous probaly isnt going to play much (unless injuys like ladt year)
they do get flyn but he has an unconsistint jumper which he needs to improve, but he could replace miller in the future

minasota would beifit from this trade becauz they get 2 guyz who can score in bunches and bayless is more of combo so he can play with rubio when he comes over.
