bobbybParticipantWhy do these teams get no respect? Both of these teams came within a matter of a few plays of beating the Champion Lakers and still no respect. I know the Suns lost Stoudemire however stars can ” skip a season” if you look in the history books. If Hedo plays like he did 2 years ago they are def a contender. Maybe Hakim Warrick has a great season?
If someone told you that Channing Frye was going to lead the league in 3’s before the season, people would say your crazy. My Predictions
West
1Lakers
2Spurs
3Suns
4OKC
5Rockets
6Portland
7Dallas
8UtahEast
1Heat
2Celtics
3Orlando
4Bulls
5Hawks
6Bucks
7Pistons
8Raptors

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantNo Way Niether team ends up where your putting them.
The Suns have NO low post scoring nor do they have a good defender on the team. They would at best be a 6th seed. I think Nash could get like 13 assists per game next season for the fact that have scorers but none of them can defend.
The Celtics were the 4th seed last season because they rested. There another year older and should be doing the same.

sammybuckeye13ParticipantNo way Dallas and Utah finish 7 and 8 with the Suns in the top 3. They’re both contenders. Phoenix is now a smorgasbord of journeymen that might be able to grab the 7 or 8 seed. And the Nuggets aren’t going to make the playoffs?

esperanzafleet69Participantno chance on earth phoenix makes the playoffs… hahah and you have the rockets making it…

TRC1991ParticipantThe East will look like this:
1) Miami
2) Orlando
3) Chicago
4) Boston
5) Milwaukee
6) Atlanta
7) New York
8) DetroitThe West will look like this:
1) LA Lakers
2) Oklahoma City
3) San Antonio
4) Dallas
5) Portland
6) Denver
7) Utah
8) Phoenix0 - Posted on: Sun, 08/01/2010 - 10:40am #366432
llperezi think phoenix makes it. They lose stoudemire, but gain childress who immediatly becomes the best wing defender over grant hill. They gain hedo and warrick who both should fit well in that system. And dragic and robin lopez both improve each season they are in the league.
Fact is that there are numerous teams that can make the playofss and win 50 games in the west, so there really is no way to call anyone out for not including 1 or 2 teams that someone else would include.

huff09ParticipantSteve Nash will put that team on his back like always and get them to the playoffs. A few years ago when Stoudemire was out with injury they had a great season and went deep into the playoffs with a very similar team.

KU PRIDE14ParticipantHaving Dallas as the 7th seed Pistons as the 7th seed and Toronto as the 8th seed all makes absolutely no sense

Detroit!!! theres no way they make the playoffs, they maybe win 30. there like 11th in East
1) Miami
2) Orlando
3) Chicago
4) Boston
5) Milwaukee
6) Atlanta
7)Charlotte
8) New York
9)Cleveland
10)Toronto
11) Detroit0 - Posted on: Sun, 08/01/2010 - 2:12pm #366508
llperezi think philly and washington both have very legit chances at making the playoffs. I would put those teams ahead of charlotte, cleavland, toronto and detroit and right on par with new york.

Tyreke JohnsonParticipantSuns will make the playoffs again but probably best suited as a 7th seed because though they lost Stoudemire they have a well rounded team, offensively I mean, they are going to be a running team and have a lot of good offensively minded players, they won’t make it far in the Playoffs but I am sure they will do well during the regular season with Nash heading the show, Celtics had a nice run this year and shocking many people by beating Cleveland and Orlando but I doubt they get a 2nd seed this upcoming season, they are still an older team and will probably do what the Spurs did this year by resting their players for several games throughout the whole year so for the playoffs they would be as fatigued, but I see them getting the 4th seed in the East again.

the fanParticipantGrant Hill and Robin Lopez are very good defenders, Jared Dudley is pretty good too. To say the Suns don’t have anyone who can play defense is ignorant.
