A suggestion

Just a friendly suggestion for those who work for this website. I think it would be a great addition to add a persons favorite team under the profile information. There is the your user name, then your picture if you choose, then when joined, posts and points, and online or offline. I say under that have the logo of your favorite team which the user could modify in their profile. I think it would be nice touch and useful to see in some scenario's.

I like the online/offline,

I like the online/offline, but the favorite team thing just calls for someone to play the "your just biased" card

True, but in some cases it is

True, but in some cases it is good to know because they are being biased, or it works the other way they are criticizing their favorite team.

I wonder...

Would they have the logos of the immensely powerful Greek clubs for Euroballer to choose from?

I start a lot of my posts

I start a lot of my posts saying "being a Sixers fan" but I have a feeling I won't be doing too much of that this season. I am glad they decided to blow it up finally but I'm not crazy about MCW or Noel as prospects because of their limited offensive ceilings.

Used to be able to do this

Guess that recently the "Player Profile" function was taken down. Will ask about it. I know that quite a few users had made them when this function was available. It had an ability to state your favorite college and pro team, basically to make a player profile, only have it be about yourself. Could even give yourself a rating, with most of us logically putting our "NBA Ready" at 0. Guess they got rid of it, really too bad, I thought it was cool.

Going to see why, because it was a good way to see where someone was from and maybe get an idea of there favorite team or ingrained bias. If you tend to visit this board enough, you seem to figure it out pretty well without it, though. I am a major Oregon Ducks fan, which you can tell by my avatar picture, which is DeAnthony Thomas. I try not to discount posters for being fans, however some get old pretty quick and there bias tends to show through. Despite my love of the Ducks, I try to keep things realistic. I know we are not winning every game or getting every recruit, lol.

One thing I will say about Player Profiles disappearing is that it may be due to SPAM. The spammers were making player profiles for their products, it was pretty obnoxious. Maybe they just decided to delete them all to take out the excess profiles that had not been deleted, with a plan to bring it back in the future? Either way, like the "Player Profile" option better than having the logo at the bottom of ones profile. You usually do not need a logo to tell if a person is biased, if you read the board often enough you figure it out.
