Such A Shame

That Kevin Durant has to be in an era where he'll have to settle for 2nd in MVP voting and losing in the finals as good as he is......

He's like 24, he has plenty

He's like 24, he has plenty of time to win both numerous times. You should feel worse for guys like Malone/Stockton/Ewing/Barkley who had to deal with Jordan their whole careers.

I'll bet Durant wins an MVP

I'll bet Durant wins an MVP between age 25 and 29.

Same

Same could be said about everybody who is not on LeBron's team minus the MVP runner up part. Carmelo, Dwight, Chris Paul, and tons of other players still haven't gotten a ring, and the thing is the majority of players leave the league without one. I hope we can get away from Big 3's some day and return to teams led by one or two stars with solid players surrounding them at each position. That way the league isn't watered down with some teams struggling to get to 10 wins (see Charlotte, Washington.) Plus it makes for better rivalries and a wide open playoff picture. Miami isn't guaranteed to win obviously, but the odds are definitely in their favor.

Durant Can Win MVP...

But I think he will have to become more selfish, but only in a sense of purely dominating the game and not be content with just winning. become a the hands down leader of OKC. he is the best player but he RW is the heart and soul of that team! He has to be more aggressive and dominate what he does best (SCORING) take 20 shots a game average that 30-32 ppg and become the defacto best scorer in the league hands down!
