What was the full time score?

Also, Steven Adams to me looks like one of the most NBA high-schoolers this year.

Steve Adams reminds me of some sort of mix between Byron Mullens and Yao Ming.  I know how weird is that.

Only a few games in and Steven Adams is alread making a huge impact. Darko was known as a man with sweet moves back then but Adams is much more athletic than he was at their age and certainly will be a more hardworker than he was. Growing up with plenty of siblings and a sister who’s won an Olympic gold medal, I’m sure that he’s very eager to prove himself. Scoring 23 points against the top high school shot blocker is no easy feat.

I can’t believe that anyone knows how athletic Darko was as a highschooler. But when he tested at that NBA combine at the tender age of 18 he was 6′ 11.5" with long arms and posted a 32.5" verticle weighing in at 250 pounds. Milici touched 12′ 0", which is very high and he did the sprint and agility tests at very respectable times for a big center.  Now the guy couldn’t play basketball, which is something the scouts seemed to forget to pay attention to, but as a physical specimen he was very imposing and much more so than Steven Adams. Adams is shorter, skinnier and I doubt he will touch 12 feet. He could easily be a better basketball player than Darko, but saying he is much more athletic at, what, about 1 year younger than when Darko was drafted to play in the NBA is probably not right.

im not saying that he is the same player as darko, i probaly should have made that more clear, but he will be about as effective as Darko.

Yeah Steve Adams is agile but he’s not even close to being the physical specimen Darko was when he was 17.  Remenber Darko was only 17 around the time of the draft.  Much of the mystique surrounding Darko was that he was a Kevin Garnett like big man who played with passion and fire.  That passion and fired turned out to be plain disgruntled-ness.  The only KG like big man I saw in that video was Noels.

Noels should be the first pick whenever he declares even if he comes to school early and is in the same draft as Shabazz.  What are your thoughts?

^^^^ He nailed it, there was a reason Darko went that high, yes it was a mistake but had he not went 2 he would have gone 3 or 4 easy. He was a legit 7 footer who could run the floor, had nice post moves and a decent mid range jumper. He just turned out to never develope like he should.

Adams looked great but he was missing that Darko spin move that got him drafted 2. Every time I get mad at scouts for falling in love with Biyombo or Darko, I see Serge Ibaka and love his game. Its hit or miss, but you gotta swing. Noel looked great too especially on those espn games.
