thanks

i respect your opinion man, i just don't think he's strong enough or has a mean enough attitude to push around nba bigs, and his defence is not great. but thanks for the reply.

Sounds like you're asking a

Sounds like you're asking a thinly veiled question about "potential." In short, yes, I do think that Steven Adams has a higher ceiling than Cody Zeller. I think he has the potential to impact the game in more ways than Cody. Cody will likely always be the better scorer of the 2, but as far as rebounding, defense, offensive rebounding, impacting the game with sheer size and athleticism, the advantage goes to Adams. I don't think Adams gets enough hype for being the physical freak that he is. Just look at the pictures of him at age 19, prior to hitting a college weight room. Kid is jacked and he doesn't just have upper body strength either. He's got tree trunk legs as well, which will enable him to establish and hold position at the next level. Unlike Zeller, Adams has long arms and huge hands. Adams is more athletic as well.

It'll take longer for him to develop since Adams is still fairly new to the game, but he looks like a quick study who's actually developing some pretty good instincts on both sides of the floor, mostly on defense though. For instance, watch how he contests shots compared to how Nerlens Noel contest shots. Adams doesn't always go for the block and he's less likely to get faked out of his shoes. He stays tall, gets a hand up, trying to block the vision of the shooter and he stays in position to clean up the rebound, unlike Noel who tries to block everything and gets out of position for rebounds. On offense Adams seems to be picking up things quickly as well, I think he's already a good passer for a C, which shows an ability to see and read the defense.

i agree mostly

that is what i meant man. i think adams will develope more offensivly and end up being far more valuable than zeller. zeller is a better college player thanhe will be an nba player i think. i think adams will end up staying 2 years and really become good. 2 years will benifit him more than zeller i think.

I Like them both,but i feel

I Like them both, but i feel Cody Zeller is a little overrated and there are questions about rather or not Adams will ever reach his potential...While Zeller is the safer pick,Adams has the most upside......

I remember arguing with some friends about Kevin Love, they said he was too slow, too fat and not athletic enough to be a star...But Love had so many things working for him..He had a superior IQ,endless shooting range, great passer, the ability to create plays for himself & teammates,a little nastiness, good rebounder both defensively & offensively...I dont see any elite skills in Zeller that stands out or will make him a star.....He doesnt have great length or strength, which will affect his rebounding numbers at the next level....I see him having a role similar to that of Laef LaFrentz.......A guy that was a solid nba player, but wasnt a star....

More athletic? Cody was super athletic last year though did not translate that well to rebounding or defense. He was probably the 2nd fastest center in the country to his brother and he supposedly has a 38 inch vertical now.
