qDizzle32ParticipantIt’s now or never for 37-year old PG Steve Nash. The Phoenix Suns are obviously nowhere close to a championship anytime soon. So trading their franchise player may be one of the only ways to save the team. Heres a few potential trades to get rid of Nash and help rebuild the franchise

Boston needs a new Center after trading Perkins, the retirement of Shaq and the health and age of Jermaine O’Neal. Maybe giving up Garnett coming to an end of his career might help. If Nash goes to the Clippers along with Kevin Garnett. That would add 10 times the experience to the Clippers roster. Plus while still having Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon along with re-signing DeAndre Jordan who would become the new starting Center. The Clippers 5 would be…
C DeAndre Jordan
F Blake Griffin
F Kevin Garnett
G Eric Gordon
G Steve Nash
Now that could potentially be a championship contending lineup along with Al-Faruoq Aminu and Eric Bledsoe as the key reserves still at a young age and could take over Nash and Garnett once they retire.
What about sending Nash’s talents down to South Beach along with LBJ, D-Wade and Chris Bosh?

Miami would be losing Mike Miller, Udonis Haslem, Eddie House and Joel Anthony but they’ll at least finally find a real PG to bring the ball up the court. Last year the Heat started off with Carlos Arroyo as their PG, then benched him and started Mario Chalmers then waived Arroyo to sign Mike Bibby and used him as their new starting PG which didn’t work out very good especially in the finals. The Heat could then maybe sign a new Center, such as Samuel Dalembert, Spencer Hawes etc. and then count on James Jones to shoot their outside 3’s off the bench after losing Mike Miller.
What about joining the Lakers along with Kobe, Gasol, Bynum, Lamar Odom and not to mention, Metta World Peace!

The Lakers would be huge winners acquiring Nash after already having that highly experienced roster. The Lakers would lose their backup PG Steve Blake to help clear up the PG slot for Nash, Luke Walton who had lost his spot in the rotation last year who is still a solid role player who was a big part of the 08-09 championship squad and Shannon Brown who would obviously be the biggest loss for the Lakers would be losing but Brown is probably ready to run his own team now and probably would have opted out to become a free agent anyway. Then probably have Derek Fisher become the backup PG which is more where he belongs now anyway coming to the end of his career anyway. Even as a Sacramento Kings fan I would have to admit that acquiring Nash would at least bring them another title to L.A.

rileymcshea3ParticipantAll of those trades are just terrible and wont help the Suns at all for the future
BUT the if the Suns are nearing the trade deadline with out any good offers and the Clips do offer the Suns the T-Wolves first round pick and Eric Bledsoe and take up Childress’s and Warrick’s contract that would be a goood trade for the Suns ……Just imagine a if the T-Wolves do end up a top 5 pick and the Suns suck and get a top 5 pick and they draft Harrison Barnes and Jared Sullinger
Pg-Eric Bledsoe
Sg-Harrison Barnes
Sf-Marcus Morris
Pf-Jared Sullinger
C-Marcin Gortat
