How to apply for the job?

It is kinda surprising as Kerr mentioned he would like to continue.

Looks like Sarver is saving money on front office this time. How to apply for the job? I will take a quarter of what Kerr made to do it.

I think I would do better than Steve Kerr, Mike D'Antoni, and Bryan Colangelo.

=P

As a Suns fan, I am extremely

As a Suns fan, I am extremely disappointed that Steve Kerr stepped down. It's actually kind of funny, because I wanted him to be fired in his first couple seasons. It looked as if he might have been the worst GM in NBA history. It didn't help that he was a UA alum and I was an ASU fan, but anyways...the past year or two, he has done a great job and kept this team at the top in the league. I was finally happy with what he was doing with this team...and he steps down! Just our luck!

anyways, don't be surprised

anyways, don't be surprised if David Griffin, the Sr. VP of Basketball Operations, replaces Steve Kerr.

Robert Sarver is the Problem

Robert Sarver, the meddling owner who has a history of giving away number one draft choices is the big problem in Phoenix. If Steve Nash wasn't their PG, they would be one of the worst teams in basketball.

My guess is Steve Kerr could no longer put up with Robert Saver who bought the team in 2004. Sarver did the following:

2004
-------
Traded the 7th pick in the draft for a future draft choice
Traded the 16th pick in the draft to Utah?

2005
-------
Traded the 21st choice in the draft to the NY Knicks

2006
-------
Traded the 21st choice in the draft, who was Rajon Rondo, to Boston
Traded the 27th choice in the draft, who was Sergio Rodriguez, to Portland.

2007
-------
Traded the draft rights for Rudy Fernandez to Portland
