Wish he had that maturity back at UMD, he could’ve been special. BTW, as much as I love Stevie, that looked like a punk move on his part. We can’t see what was being said and done between the two during the scrimmage up to that point, but to me Stevie lost his head.
Also, it’s sad to see the comments on youtube are turning racial. This country has serious issues 🙁

So he climbs Blake’s back a bit on that rebound and pops him a little in the head. He was just trying to find a way to make an impact (probably doesn’t know how to do that without the ball in his hands) and so got a little phsyical with the skinny Blake. Blake snaps and throws an unjustified punch. Maybe some bad stuff is being said before the fight, but I doubt it.
I don’t think Gilchrist is backing off to diffuse the situation, I think he is backing off because he doesn’t want to fight. Not saying he is scared, but he starts being more agressive and pushing forward only after the big guys get in the way. One of those hold me back moves where the guy is really really hoping someone holds him back and breaks up the fight.
