Hasn’t Michael Beasley been suspended for Marijuana use? Past player Larry Sanders too if I remember correctly was suspended for it also.
I read an article where jay Williams estimated that around 80 ℅ of NBA players use marijuana in some form. While I think that might be overestimated a little bit, I would assume that at least half probably do at least on an occasional basis.
I don’t really think it’s a common practice before games for NBA players, although I know there are some people that seem to swear that it legitimately helps them play better.
