    As a lifelong St.John’s basketball fan Im happy to say that this team has finally put the pieces they have had for the past 3 seasons into a very good start to the season. With a 10-1 record and being ranked the 17th best team in the country. One has to think that this team is one that can make the NCAA tournament and even be in contention for a sweet 16 appearence or elite 8.  Prior to this season Lavin was on his way out the door and back to broadcasting. He has this team of atheltes playing at a high level. D’Angelo Harrison is looking like the Big East Player of The Year averaging close to 20 points and giving good leadership to this team. Chris Obekpa is looking like the defensive force he was his freshmen year and rebounding at a high clip as well. This team is a good one who I think can hang with any team in the country. Even though most people slept on them this season and I think they are one of the suprise teams of the Top 25.

     The Real Question is what do you guys think is this teams ceiling and are there any NBA worthy prosepcts on the team.

     I think they will be good. They are tough. Of course Sheed and D Harrison are NBA prospects. Harrison just has to keep working and staying consistent
