DondiJohnParticipantThey combine to score 27 points in the first half. Ibaka’s showing his mid range game and Perk close to a double double with 8 rebounds. The Thunder have been moving the ball very well, 14 ass compared to Spurs 7. The big 3 of Westbrook, Durant and Harden are not scoring that much yet. It has been the Thunder’s support players that carry the load.

Wavy BagelsParticipantOKC’s bigs are shoting from the perimeter and making their shots. Coach Pop is living with this because Durant and Westbrook only combine for 14 points in the first half.

Wavy BagelsParticipantTimmy Needs some help in the post area. The Spurs are not boxing out and fighting for rebounds. I wonder if we will see an early DeJuan Blair sighting in the game.

Wavy BagelsParticipantLOL May Be Morpheus. You be knowin’.
The Spurs are letting this one slip away from them. They are not penetrating and settling for jumpshots.

Wavy BagelsParticipantI really want Durant, Harden, and Westbrook to just take over and close out.
And that’s what’s keeping the Spurs in the game. The fact that OKC’s Big 3 has yet to explode in this game.

Wavy BagelsParticipantYes! DeJuan Blair in the game and his size making a huge difference.

I May Be WrongParticipantAs much as I love the surprise production from the Thunder bigs, I really want Durant, Harden, and Westbrook to just take over and close out. Cuz I worry cuz the Spurs are just a couple of threes away from making it close again.

Wavy BagelsParticipantBlair gets blocked and returns to take the charge. Then, Ginobili commits the offensive foul next possession. SMH. Gotta love #20.

NihochuParticipantwhen the spurs use ginobili everything changes for them , they should run more plays for him

DondiJohnParticipantThe Dancing Bear will win this game for the Spurs!

I May Be WrongParticipantDejuan Blair +/- of +11 since checking into the game.

I May Be WrongParticipantSomeone finally played the song of his people because The People’s BEARD has finally woken up! You gotta think Ginoboli is going to look to respond back though.

avavalisParticipantSerge Ibaka da shot blocker..or da shot maker?
0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/02/2012 - 4:40pm #676557
FastAndFuriousParticipantThe Spurs have held Westbrook in check the last 2 games basically, and OKC still winning, shows you how strong of a team they really are, and how good they can be.

aamir543ParticipantI’ve always loved Blair, I was a bit curious about why he was having so many DNPs lately, unfortunately he’s been the odd man out every since Diaw came to town.
This is a great game, Ibaka has even a monster with that midrange jumpshot, Harden hit a big shot just now, you know Westbrook will continue to be aggressive, but the Spurs are just so calm and composed, Manu got a stupid foul but he’ll come back and help them, Parker has hit some beautiful floaters, and Diaw and Jackson have hit some big threes. And Harden with the three! This is what you call playoff basketball! And my boy Kendick Perkins, he’s come up big, I love his intensity, Scott Brooks is proving to be better than we ever thought he was, going toe to toe with Pop, this series will go 7 if the Thunder hang on, but if last year’s Mavs taught us anything in the Thunder or Heat series, never count good veteran teams out. The Spurs are still getting decent shots, but the fact of the matter is that these are the two best teams in the league, and this one is going to come down to who plays even better than the best

Seamo15ParticipantIbaka has scored more than Westbrook and Durant combined!
0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/02/2012 - 4:46pm #676560
Wavy BagelsParticipantYea the Durantula has shown up. The Spurs just can’t get as much stops like they used to years ago.

Wavy BagelsParticipantProps to Durant. Whatever. Game 5.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/02/2012 - 4:54pm #676569
aamir543ParticipantWow, this is a heavyweight series, and I have to say, the Spurs played a great game, but when the Thunder shoot 56% fron the field, thy’re sort of imposible to beat. The Spurs did their best executing down the stretch, however the Thunder have hit shot after shot.
Big three by Leanord.
Wow, another timely shot by Durant.
Yeah, Leanord hits another three.
Are you Kidding me? I love these screens Perkins is setting, even Estbrook is setting screens, the Spurs need to do somthing about these down screens for Durant, I say Double on them and have the ehlp come from the weak side, They can’t give Durant these shots he’s gotten this quarter. This game is still not over though.

bennydabullParticipantSpurs were down 4 with the ball… with a great chance to get back into the game and put some pressure on OKC… but Parker ball hogs and mindlessly drives into the lane into traffic and comes up empty. This happened more than once………
0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/02/2012 - 4:59pm #676566
royk927ParticipantDurant is beastin
0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/02/2012 - 5:01pm #676570
I May Be WrongParticipantIn the last 6:33….
Kevin Durant 14 points VS the Spurs 16 points. Amazing performance!
0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/02/2012 - 5:21pm #676576
aamir543ParticipantKeep in mind, just because San Antonio dropped these two games doesn’t mean they aren’t one of the best teams we’ve seen in years. OKC played an outstanding game, it came down to one team playing more amazing than another. It’s like getting a 47 out of 50 on your test but you end up getting a B because of the curve. I expect both teams to battle the next two games that I predict they’ll split, but I really want to see how Pop handles the A) jumpshooting of Ibaka and inside scoring of Perk, and B) Durant coming off of those screens, because he got quite a bit of clean looks and no one was there to cut him off. I’d double on the screen and send help and hope your rotations are fast enough. Nonetheless, I expect this series to go 7, either way, but these are clearly the two best teams in the league.

TomShoeParticipantI still think the Spurs are going to win the whole thing. Serge had a good night, but the Spurs are just too consistent to let this one slip.
Besides, you know this can’t last when KENDRICK FRICKIN’ PERKINS is making shots.
