Speaking of the Draft...

...could Wesley Matthews become the best UN-DRAFTED player ever? With B. Roy's injury problems and the way Matthews is developing as a player(potential ALL-STAR) his BIG off-season deal is looking more and more like a BIG bargain...

He has a shot to yeah but he

He has a shot to yeah but he will have to make some all-star teams IMO in order to be considered better than John Starks, Ben Wallace or Brad Miller- who have all made all-star games.I just don't see him ever becoming an all-star though... The nba is just too stacked and if Monta Ellis can't even make an all-star team I doubt Wesley Matthews will ever make one...

Wes Matthews will never be an

Wes Matthews will never be an All-Star. People need to realise this sooner rather than later. He's putting up good numbers, but the league is too talented across the board for someone of Matthews' calibre to be an All-Star, which as has been said, puts him a notch below undrafted players who became All-Stars.

john starks most def

he went from bagging groceries (30 for 30 reggie miller winning time) to one of the most crucial players for the knicks underdog story to the fullest... never let your dreams die baby...

wilt wasnt undrafted, he was

wilt wasnt undrafted, he was a territorial pick by the philidelphia 76ers. The NBA for a very long time used to allow teams to forfiet their first rounder in order to take a local product prior to the draft. Imagine if they still had that rule, the lakers no matter what their record was, would get first dibs on the best talent from southern california.

^ haha i think the charlotte

^

haha i think the charlotte bobcats would be in the best shape...it sure would be hard to pick guys from carolina, duke, and NC state

but anyways, no matthews is solid but hes extremely inconsistent, one day he will go 10-16 with 36 points and the next day drop 14 points on 2-13 shooting

What about DC?

The wizards would be a nightmare if that rule was still around.

Kevin Durant, Michael Beasley, Rudy Gay, Carmelo Anthony, and so many more players from the DMV.

Connie Hawkins was undrafted too, and he is in the Hall of Fame so Matthews has no chance...... lol
