http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGIQzm8bMHoThis game is from day 1, Piston’s new signing Luigi Datome puts up great performance – 25 pts 8 rebs 2 as and a steal.Belinelli (Spurs) 16 pts 5 as, Aradori 13 pts 5 rebs.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GN-q_3P0SkA surprise OT win for Belgium, but another strong performance for Germany’s 2.09m (6’10 1/2″) 24-year old small forward Robin Benzing. He posted 24 pts 5 rebs, after yesterday’s 19 pts and clutch 3-pointers against France. 5 Belgian players posted up double-digit scoring. It’s notable how 7’1”’Germany center Tibor Pleiss (the 31st pick of the 2010 NBA draft) misses twice under the basket in the last 2 seconds of over-time, poor mentality I guess..
Latvia – Montenegro
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aheeq93YLWEIt’s 2 out of 2 for Latvia, Kristaps Janicenoks drained a game-winning 3-pointer with 6 seconds left on the clock. He finished with 15 points. Another Latvian player who deserves attention is 25-year old 6’11″/235-pound power forward Rolands Freimanis He is coming off the bench, finishing with 12 points 7 rebs in 24 mins today, but yesterday was his big game in the win against Bosnia he produced 24 points in just 17 minutes, shooting 11 – 13 from the field. For Montenegro naturalized American Tyrese Rise was the best player with 24 pts and 5 assists. Nik Vucevic (Magic) had a disapointing game playing only 14 mins finishing with just 4 point, 3 rebs going 1 of 7 from the field.
Lithuania – Macedonia
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvh6UIseYEILithuania are one of the favourites for the gold medal and normally they overtook the Macedonians. Mantas Kalnietis top-scored with 17 pts adding 6 rebs and 5 assists, jonas Maciulis added 14 pts + 3 steals, while the Twin Towers Motiejunas and Valanciunas posted 11 points each. Expirienced point guard Vlado Ilievski produced 13 pts 4 assists 3 steals from the bench, while naturalized American Bo McCaleb finished with 11.

wrectorParticipantWhat happened to Gentile? I remember seeing him on the mock draft, but he’s not there anymore.

TheTruth86ParticipantGentile scored 20 points in 23 mins on 8 of 13 shooting tonight. Last night against Russia he scored 8 points in 12 minutes. He’s playing well but generally he didn’t play consistently throughout the season and so far is failing to reach his potential.
