TyroberParticipantThe Cavs have the best draft position but who are your picks? Would you consider trading the pick? What team would give you anything of value in a very weak draft?
Would you rather have Irving and Kanter? Or Williams and Knight?
Irving is going to be a solid pro, but I have not saw much on Kanter. Irving isn’t going to be a superstar, but he should be a good player.
Williams is a bit of a tweener, but he has a lot of talent. I also think Knight is going to be a very solid pro in the league.
Thoughts?

The_MizParticipantI would go with Williams at #1. I think he is the best player in this draft and also I could get Knight, who I think might be better than Irving. Kanter is also very good.

DanEboyParticipantI agree with The Miz…..Knight is only 19 and the Cavs are in serious rebuilding mode so they can afford to wait on his growing pains. I think Williams and Knight are a better combo than Irving and Kanter/ Jonas/ Jan. I don’t think the Cavs can afford to take a risk with those guys, especially Kanter.

xavier328Participant#1-Irving
#4-Kanter
In Byron Scott’s Offense the better fit would be Irvin over Knight.
If anybody who has a chance of being better than D.Williams in this draft its Kanter….Its a WIN WIN for Clevland!

I’m curious how you came to this conclusion because what i know about the cavs is they were terrible last year, so I would expect them to draft for talent not how a player fits their system.
What exactly is Byron Scott’s Offense and why does Irving fit it more so than Knight?

TokenWhiteGuyParticipantIt depends on what you think Utah is going to do.
Assuming Irving and Willaims go 1,2 it depends then on utah. If Kanter is going to be availble at 4 i would take Irving. If not I would take Willaims then take Knight at 4.
If you take Irving and then Utah takes Kanter then i think you have to reach or trade because I wouldn’t want to take 2 point gaurds in the top 4 and there is nobody else i would consider in the top 4. If you take Willaims and Utah take Knight I would then take Kanter but I would be kicking myself for not getting one of the top 2 point gaurds.
