So does Eric Gordon lead the league in scoring this year???

I really dont think its a crazy prediction...EJ was averaging around 24 points per game before he got hurt and was almost top 5 in scoring...he spent the summer working on a post game and his handles looked much sharper in the summer league games he was playing in

who else does New Orleans have on their team to score??? One of the Beastie Boys and some guys who will only be allstars at their family reunion games

I don't think it's crazy

I don't think it's crazy either, I don't think it will happen, but I think 26-27 is a pretty good estimate on what he'll do in NO.

He'll average 23-25, which

He'll average 23-25, which should put him in the top ten.

I thought he saw the floor better last season though and didn't just look to score. I hope he continues to expand on that and get his assists up to about 5 per game.

I think he'll be a better all-around player this season and not just a scorer.

Gordon will have a chance to lead the

league in scoring. The Hornets will also have a chance to lead the league in losses as well.

He is the only real scoring

He is the only real scoring option in NO but that also means that the other teams D will give him most all of the attention and make it really hard on him he should have a nice season but not lead the league in scoreing

I was thinking his numbers go

I was thinking his numbers go up all around the board and have him play more point gaurd role on offense but not forgetting what he does best scoring.. I think like 24 points 4 rebounds and about 6 assist is something we could expect

He may go for 25ppg but Chris kaman is going to be an all star again with like 19 and 10. Thats my bold prediction anyway

I wouldn't overlook the

I wouldn't overlook the possibility, but we still have Kevin Durant playing. Also, unlike Durant, EG has to stay healthy for a lenghty time. But due to the shortened season, this may work in Gordon's favor.

Carl "ballhog" Landry just

Carl "ballhog" Landry just re-sign with New Orleans, so Eric Gordon's chances, if there were such, got decrease by miles!

yeah he's an effective scorer

yeah he's an effective scorer but he does his teamates a little bit worse by never passing after getting the ball!

Real

Kobe Bryant beats his career high drops 37 a game. EG can easily drop 30 a game. 3 3s a night.

I really like EJ and this

I really like EJ and this brings him out of the shadows somewhat. I think the max he will avg is 25. this is not because he cant but I dont think he will force himself to score much more than needed and will look to get his teamates involved. If his mentality is set to average 28-29ppg then he WILL do it but at the sacrifice of percentages as mentioned about.

Gordon

Gordon would need to average about 28ppg+ to lead the league in scoring. Meaning this team would have to average over 100ppg. They have good scorers and their second option is going to be All-Star Chris Kaman. I could see Kaman averaging 18ppg.

2010-2011 PPG

  • Kaman: 18.5 PPG (2009-2010)
  • Okafor: 10.3 PPG
  • Ariza: 11 PPG
  • Jack: 8.9 PPG
  • Landry: 11.9 PPG
  • Aminu: 5.6 PPG
  • Belinelli: 10.5 PPG

Those guys alone averaged 77 PPG last season (Kaman in 2009-2010 since he was injured last season).

If anything, it was easier for Gordon to score in L.A. because there was only one other offensive force with Blake Griffin, on this team, there are at least five or six offensive threats.

I said after Brain Butch

I said after Brain Butch graduated that if he ever made an NBA roster he would immediately become the slowest player in the league.

.

He'll have tay's numbers in a losing team, maybe an assist, a steal less.

Would have been an all star THIS season as a clipper, with aldridge they were the best new candidates....
