    Dallas vs Utah.

This will essentially determine who makes the playoffs in the 8th seed out West. Some people may laugh, since the probability of beating Golden State in the 1st round is non-existent…but making the playoffs is important to the Jazz and even a butt-whooping would be valuable experience.

The other team in the hunt is Houston. They have a tricky match-up against the Timberwolves remaining, along with an easy one against the Kings at home. The Jazz finish at the Lakers for Kobe’s last game. After a disasterous season, I’m pretty sure the Lakers will have one eye on a summertime cruise in Barbados after a terrible season, and won’t be much of a threat.

Who would you rather see in the Playoffs?

The Exciting Jazz, or Dwight Howard and the Turnover Machine?

At least the Rockets have James Harden, Dwight Howard and at least a fighting chance to beat the Warriors a few times, making their repeat that much harder…

The Jazz, as young and entertaining as they can be from time to time, dont have much of a chance, the experience of being throttled by a Championship calibre team can have a negative effect on morale sometimes, I know we want to be completely on the hype train but young teams taking a 4 game beatdown can have adverse effects…

Let Harden and Howard take the emotional beating and hopefully the 1st round exit forces them to reevaluate their future…

Don’t rule out Dallas being the odd team out. If they lose the Utah game and on Wednesday to the Spurs with Houston & Utah both winning their final 2, Then it would be Utah 7, Houston 8, & Dallas 9.

Good point. Makes that Dallas, Jazz game even more important.

The Spurs would love to knock the Mavs out as well after all the times Mark Cuban dissed their "Muddy, ugly A$$ river-walk"

Not sure the Spurs won’t rest most of the team versus Dallas.  Boban and K Anderson, might be enough to beat Dirk and the many Dallas point guards.

Jazz versus Mavs, fun game to watch.

Actually i think Utah has a better chance than the rockets at winning atleast a game or two. Utahs got balanced system that doesnt freeze on one player (i.e. Harden) It will definetly be a great gam between Dallas and Utah, Ultimately i think Houstons early season struggles are going to cost them the playoffs. ps the Jazz are similar to what Atlanta is in the east that is a well coached, deep team and with a healthy Favors i think they can give golden state some problems for sure.

If I were the Jazz, I’d intentionally lose the Dallas game, then go and beat the Lakers and play the Warriors…

No, I wouldn’t really do that but I REALLY don’t want to face the Spurs in the playoffs. I’d like to see Utah at least get close in a game or two.

I think the Spurs and Warriors are equally tough matchups for anyone…but you’ve got the ridiculous referees to contend with against Golden State.

The NBA knows whats good. Spurs are also popular (and better in my opinion) but no-ones gonna bring in that cheddar like GSW in the finals as long as everyones on Steph Currys nuts.

Cavs are the villains, GSW are the heros. Its so cliche it makes me feel like I’m watching the WWE. Book it now.

Completely agree with you, but with the Warriors game, if it’s close I know that I can blame the refs. The Spurs are just too good for the Jazz, and if the Jazz lose, I’ll be upset because the Jazz lost fair and square.
