Reptilian MonkParticipantThey only need to be clicking and healthy come playoff time. They should coast to a 1st or second seed in the East.

T RexI think you’re giving them too much credit. They’re going to lose a fair amount of games like they did last year in the first half of the season, and that’s going to create similar drama for the team with Coach Blatt not being a dream coach by anybody but the owner.
The Cavs didn’t cruise to the first seed last year, and only playing out of their minds with a fully healthy cast (except varajao) got them to the second seed.
I think they’re about to face some real adversity again, and they don’t seem like the most resilient bunch.
Second half of the season they should roll, but that’s a big IF Irving and Love and Mosgov and every other key player can stay healthy. Irving might not be himself all year, and he’s only going to be playing for half the season at most.
Mo Williams is getting older, so he’s no lock to be a quality replacement starter by any means.
This will be a big test for Kevin Love, for sure. He can help his legacy by stepping up.

Tap892ParticipantWell the reason they lost a bunch of games early was they lacked chemistry, and they were missing the pieces they added in trade, so I don’t know why you would just assume they will lose a lot of games early this year
