My personal opinion is yes — they should hire him. I myself would become a fan of the program after having been idle from watching them over not getting Sherron Collins or Derrick Rose. But yes, by hiring him, Illinois chances of signing Jabari Parker and Thomas Hamilton would actually greaten. Even Rose thinks so. Those two are essentially the top 2 picks in the 2014 NBA Draft. What do y’all think?

he needs some experience coaching COLLEGE basketball at any level, I dont care if he thinks he runs his program at a college level currrently  = he doesnt know what that is  until you actually coach in COLLEGE.   I can see this being a major headache if he is hired, this is a very prestigious job = is winning state championships in high school really worthy of this?  how do we know he knows how to avoid academic problems?  exciting  maybe  possible to have  huge headaches and  put the program on probation  ABSOLUTELY.

hes been successful at every stop hes made in his coaching career, its much harder to do it at different colleges than the same high school.

Cure, but I don’t think he would be a good coach. Players have been moody enough under Weber.
