Thoughts?
Andy Rautins, Luke Babbit, Eric Bledsoe, Willie Warren, and Jordan Crawford all had quality numbers.

JoeWolf1This makes me wonder if Rautins can sneak in the end of the 2nd round. He has good size, played an important role for a good team in a tough conference, and could be a nice spark off the bench for someone and a low risk pick at the end of the 2nd.

T-WOLF FANParticipantThose players that did well, should move up in the draft. Those players that did bad may also move down.
Being a wolves fan, I kinda hope that we pick Babbit with one of our 5 picks.0 - Posted on: Fri, 05/28/2010 - 9:14am #322446

FastAndFuriousParticipantPpl said Bledsoe was gonna rise after the combine, everybody knew he was prettyathletic, but I think the shooting results just might have cemented him for a possible lottery pick for sure……..

JoeWolf1Bledsoe’s stock is going to have a similar plight to Jrue Holiday’s last year. After the combine, with Jrue’s good measurements and athletic tests his stock soared, at one point he was rumored to be targeted by New York at 8 or the Bucks at 10, but ended up going at 18 because his readyness for such a high pick, and it proved to be right. He improved a lot last year, but wasn’t ready to contribute right away and what most teams want in a lottery pick, especially a point, is more immediate help. Holiday also was more of a true point guard while Bledsoe is a combo so in order to get him confortable with running an NBA point it will take a little more. I think he’d be a good pick for Miami at 18, but I think his stock will cool off a bit and he’ll end up going in the 15-22 range.
I also question what teams would be willing to take a combo guard in the lottery. The Pacers are an obvious choice, but they don’t even have anyone to burden the load right now and let Bledsoe learn behind, it’d be a trial by fire situation. The Clippers could use a point, but 8 is too high for Bledsoe, Maybe Toronto at 13, if he does go lottery, which isn’t out of the question, Toronto could let him learn behind Calderon and he could even play along side with him.
Thats just my theory anyways, I could see him going at #13 or slipping to the late teens or early 20s.

JNixonParticipantAndy Rautins actually very similar to Vujacic, and I could see LA taking him to replace Vujacic’s shooting.

thunderforthewinParticipanti dont like these results a whole lot cause what if the guy gets nervous and screws up?
like with size n athletic results they willbe generally the same but shooting could be inaccurate
but then again its no surprise that rautins n babbit are in the top 4 so i coul dbe wrong0 - AuthorPosts
