those names appear to be declared. i guess none of the bottom 3 are considered lotto picks so it’s sort of "shocking".

Bankroll PJParticipantBoth Ulis and Blossomgame have maxed out their stock though. Ulis is a lock to get drafted and i think he’ll go in the 20-40 range. Blossomgame is coming off of a breaking season and has another year of eligibilty but turns 23 in September. I think he has a very small shot of being a late first round pick but someone will take in the 2nd round for sure. Onuaku, on the other hand, should return to school because he still has a lot of room to grow.

I May Be WrongParticipantIt just hit me… Shaq is going to be doing so much free publicity for Outback with Simmons’ highlights next year.
Ernie: “Simmons soars down the lane for a strong two handed jam!”
Shaq: “Ohhh BBQ OUTBACK STEAK SAUCE ERNUHIE!”
Ernie: “Shaq, that’s not even real Australian food.”
Shaq: “Doesn’t matter ERNUHIE! HE GOT KANGAROO HOPS. I WRESTLED A KANGAROO ONCE”

Afactor4ParticipantChinanu Onuaku? I thought "what the duck are you thinking" until I realized he’s probably just testing the waters to see if a team might draft him 1st round on size and return if they dont.

TWILL123ParticipantSpeaking as a Louisville fan, I’m desperately hoping Chinanu is doing just as you guys are saying with testing the waters. Another year with Pitino and he can make great strides similar to what Gorgui Dieng did in his 3rd year in the program. He is still only 20 years old so it is not like any rush for him to get to the NBA.

Hype MachineHas anyone ever given a bigger F.U. to college basketball than Ben Simmons.
He didn’t even pretend to make it seem like a worthwhile process. Hed quit his classes (which he openly never attended) before the first round of the NCAA tournament and hired an agent which was already lined up from before the season.
His only motivation was to preserve his draft stock and not get injured, which he could do simultaneously by playing with zero effort.
He made numerous tweets about his sweet new custom sneakers and bantered with celebs like Drake.
Clearly he hated the College experience, and I wonder if hes done irrepairable damage to the NCAA in the process. How many other 1&Dones will now just ‘go through the motions’, knowing Simmons has already done it and taken the heat.
He could have made it a development year…but he didnt even seem to care about that either. He hooked a family member up..and thats about it.
Total waste of time going to College for him. My guess is it it wasnt for loyalty to the LSU assistant coach, he would have quit before Conference play even rolled around.

TarHeelRavenParticipantI think you hit the nail right on the head. Simmons shouldn’t be given a pass for his terrible attitude at LSU. He wasted a lot of people’s time in Baton Rouge by being there I think. They had a ton of talent. but didn’t even make the tournament. He should’ve gone to Europe for a year instead. College isn’t for everyone and it dfinitely wasn’t for Ben Simmons.

nill650Participantsimmons attititude likely won’t because of the undeniable skill, but really should cost him a few draft spots, and maybe if it carries over into team interviews where he proves to be just as uninterested,no team that really wants a culture of champions will pick the a self serving non team player that leaves after their first contract with no rings and no fa wanting to play with them.
I would take the impactful hard working prospect thats hungry and does’nt disrespect the process that wants nothing but rings like Lillard as more valuable to my franchise than the gifted but self serving hardens, melos, and cousins of the league any day.
simmons falls into the latter category if his college nightmare is a sign of things to come.
To me the best prospects are often outshined by the over gifted athletes who don’t know how to work.
who is more impactful to a teams success can mean a lot more to who is the best player but not a team player.
