Shaq to Cleveland?
Anyone hear about the potential deal involving Ben and Pavlovic for Shaq?
Personally, I think it's a pretty good deal. Shaq would be able to hold down the inside, something that Z has begun to get away from. If he continues his resurgence from late last season, he would be decent offensively as well.
Even though this doesn't really help their size problems at the wing positions, Shaq's still an upgrade over Ben...
I agree with you 100 percent... Though I think Shaq is getting older.. but I still think he has enough tank to make one last run at a title... LeBron's gonna have a solid Center since Z sucks anyway...
Out here in Suns land, we are hearing this rumor repeatedly... Where there's smoke, there's fire??? Anyway it seems quite consistent with the Sarver/Kerr philosophy to trade a rejuvenated Shaq for two guys they can cut to shed salary. I won't even go into the draft picks they have given away to get out from under their pathetic cap mismanagement. Hope he brings you guys a title.
Trade Shaq to cut the the guys he was traded for. He only played a year for the Suns. I think they should trade either Shaq or Amare for the best trade possible and for guys they can use. Why trade Shaq to the Cavs? They want to stack the east for fun? Why not trade Shaq to a team that was not good last year or at least a team that did not finish with best record in the east and then cut the players for the Cavs. The Cavs are likely to cut those guys anyway. There must be someone that Washington could trade to get Shaq or how about a deal involving Josh Smith or Marvin williams and a few other guys for Shaq. That would definitely make both teams alot better next year. This trade is great for the Cavs, but stupid for the Suns.
What is this nonsense. They traded Shaq for nothing? You're telling me that the Suns couldn't get anything for Shaq? This is rediculous. Now I am convinced that the NBA is not every team for itself. Who wins a championship is determined by whatever is going to get the most publicity and make the NBA the most money. It is not really a competitive league. They just put on a show and whoever is going to make the league the most money is going to win. They just think it will be a good headline to see Shaq and Lebron playing together. I am going to barf. What about Shaq and Derrick Rose? That would have made more sense and would have been a pretty good headline too. What about Shaq back with the Lakers? How about Shaq to Memphis with O.J. Mayo? Or Shaq to Portland. There had to have been teams that offered more for Shaq.
