My favorite memory of Shaq is him making Dikembe Mutombo look like he was a high schooler when the Lakers beat the Sixers in the finals, the way he physically dominated Mutombo was a crime. Shaq in his prime was probably the most dominating player I’ve seen, I never seen or will see again a man his size get off the ground as fast as he could.

lol wizkid, i can probably repeat the "outstanding" lyrics to this day.

i remember when they asked me this one day

who i want to be like, i said dr J

then they said good, now you got a goal

now take the damn ball and slam it through the hole

mom cracked a smile, daddy gave a frown

said to myself i cant let them down

so make way im coming in for a landing

nothings gonna stop me….from being outsatanding

My favorite shaq moments are when he called the Sacramento Kings the "Sacramento Queens" and told the media "Yea, I said it…go tell ’em" and when he recorded Vince Carter’s all star game dunk and had that unforgivable facial expression like "Woooooooooooooooooooo!"

Man I understand that you wanted to know what everybody’s favorite Shaq moment is, but that’s hard. He just embodies something that can never be replaced in this league. I look at Shaq as a father figure to this league and thats big. Only other play I can put in that category is Jordan and thats just because of all his endorsements. Regardless of all the dumb stuff Shaq has done, he’s done incredible things for this league on the court and off the court and I think more important to look at as a whole more than any one particular moment he’s had. He really was Superman for a lot of fans and players because of his big heart and strong passion for the game of basketball.

Side note: I loved when he had the dance-off against Dwight & LeBron. That was a great moment just because of how funny it was. Just look at the joy he’s brought to so many people over the years. & the headaches he’s give lol

For being the greatest scoring big since Kareem!

A way off one is when Orlando played Houston at an exhibition match in London around October 1994, the billboards had a cartoon of the Parliament Clock Tower in London ( it is often called Big Ben but that is the name of the bell) with a basket attached to it saying "Shaq’s coming here to dunk"!

I still remember how awesome he was as a 20 year old rook; 23.4 PPG, 13.9 RPG and 3.5 BPG. And how pumped I was to have him on the Magic. I often wonder what things would have been like had he stayed in Orlando.
