Shabazz Muhammad

If the NBA all of a sudden changed the rule back to when you can go straight from high school to the NBA, where would Shabazz Muhammad go in this years draft? Would he go #1 overall, would he even be drafted in the top 5?

Think he would be in the conversation for 2

Do not think Shabazz would jump Anthony Davis, but he very well could be in the fight for 2nd pick in the draft. Of course it depends on the lottery and such, but this guy is basically Michael Kidd-Gilchrist with a jump shot. He still needs work on his All-Around game and right hand, but I think that he would be a very intriguing possibility after the one brow. I mean, pick.

Bazz

Bazz would likely go #2 because of the offensive upside , he reminds me of Jerry Stackhouse.

He would definitely be in the

He would definitely be in the convorsation for the 2-5 conversation where every player seems to be interchangeable. I'll say #2 or 3.

I almost think he'd be a lock

I almost think he'd be a lock for #2. Everyone in this years draft is interchangable between 2-6ish. I think he'd be clear cut above those guys.

I'll admit I haven't seen

I'll admit I haven't seen this kid play a full game, so I guess I'll have to watch him in college whenever I get the chance to see what all the fuss is about, but how can a guard without a right hand be considered a lock for #2 in the NBA draft. It seems like madness for a basketball player held in that sort of esteem lacks something as fundamental as ambidexterity with his driblling.

^he does

he does have a right hand ive seen him shoot hooks and drive right but he is a little left dominant but its not that much of an issue he would probably go 2nd right out of high school

He would be fighting for a top 5 spot. Very likely #2 just behind Anthony Davis.

@alex23; thanks for clearing

@alex23; thanks for clearing that up, like I said, I've never seen him play a full game, but I always hear from people that his right hand as a deficiency and it struck me as an odd weakness to have as a guard.

I think he would just take

I think he would just take Beal's spot in the draft basically by becoming the #1 SG in the class.

I'm still on Drummond for #2

I'm still on Drummond for #2 even with Muhammed. Muhammed would be 3 for me. I still think Drummond is going to be a rare talent and if I was a gm I may pick Drimmond 1. Depending on what I have already.
