TyroberParticipantwith money comes responsibility. these people dont have any responsibility. these people probably grew up poor as kids and when they finally got a little money they went crazy. they all need to grow up and realize they are living a dream

thetruthParticipanti think alot of these athletes should be more smart with their money. they should look into investing, go back to school and get their degrees, help out the communities, and stop doing dumb shit. like spending 1000 in a club or on jewelery, i think we all can agree any one of us on here would kill to be in their shoes.

Henry25Participanti agree that these guys should be more mature with their money, but what do u expect. When u grow up poor, and then all of a sudden ur a 20 year old millionaire, things r gonna be tough. The smoking weed thing isn’t that big a deal imo, but maybe that’s because i enjoy a good smoke. Anyways i agree that they should atleast learn howw to manage their money properly. I’ll never understand tho why athletes feel the need to buy all that jewelery and so many cars. It’s a waste of money. Invest that money so when u have kids you can raise them well and send them to good schools

marcusfizer21ParticipantI think pressure also comes into that… If one gets paid high, he is also expected to do better that’s why most athletes crumble when they feel such pressure. The money is also a factor… You’re damn right when you say money can’t buy everything because it don’t… We all look and watch their fancy cars and houses and envy their luxury but once we step inside their shoes, we will understand that it’s not easy to be them…

quincey hodgesits no different then peopel who have menbtal problems growing up then break down as they become adults or have more pressure put on them..it happens every day in society so it shouldnt be that big of a suprise when it happens int he nba. im sure most of us wouldnt flip out if given all that money but there are a few that would . some people just cant handle it like others. the thing about beasley is anyone from the md/dc area who watched him in hs or read the washington post knew about the problems he had even back then and it doesnt suprise us that hes now having a break down.
