Can someone explain how he fell as far as he did? I and many other Thunder fans really wanted him (I like TFerg but I could see him just being another Terrence Ross), but I would’ve believed he didn’t fall to us before him falling all the way into the late 30s

I think its terrible he is going to Boston. What a waste. Now hes stuck behind Tatum, Brown, and Crowder and will likely just rot in the D-League like most of Ainges picks.

I feel like a trade has to happen there somehow, especially if they’re signing Gordon Hayward

Brad Stevens loves versatility and positionless basketball.  I’m extremely happy that he fell to the Celtics at 37.

He won’t be able to show that versatility if he won’t play though. If Brown struggled to get consistent minutes in the regular season with Crowder and Amir Johnson as his competition, Ojeleye for sure will rack up DNPs. Was hoping the Pelicans would draft him but oh welll.

He’s one of my favorite prospects in this draft; his similarities to Draymond Green are uncanny. Hopefully he’ll get cut and will make a roster somewhere else, and capitalize on an opportunity. I think some potentially nice fits would be New Orleans, the Clippers, and OKC.

Who knows, maybe he reminded some GMs more of Anthony Bennett than Draymond.

I really liked Semi Ojeleye, I had him going to the Thunder for the past few months after the NCAA season finished. I just dropped him down when I heard the frank Jackson rumor promise.

Agree its a shame he went to Boston. Memphis ended up with Rabb @ 35. They would of been much better off with Semi Ojeleye as Parsons is always injured.

Would be good to see Semi Ojeleye battle Jaylen Brown at Celtic’s practices….

6ft7 with 6ft10 wingspan. Strong too, he will play the 4 easily. He is gonna be a moster in space. HOW DID HE FALL THAT FAR. He is a mpore athletic Draymong minus the play making. He comes in shooting 42 from three at the PF position. Went to duke b4 too. Nice late pick and that is where Danny does well, late picks.

yeah i see him more as a pf in todays small ball era becasue he is strong so i think there is chance for minutes in boston. With that said, im not nearly as high on him as some of you guys. Once i did research on him i never saw him as a first rounder. Too robotic and stiff.
