Saric signed with Cibona for four years. From translation:
Things about which says Saric allegedly exit clause in the contract by which young people from Sibenik from their first NBA contract should reward the "secret sponsors Spurs' (which will be for him to pay compensation to 550.00 euros), managers and of course Cibona in which toys should be develop.
It is known that the NBA club, which chooses Saric in the NBA draft, pay Cibona maximum 600,000 U.S. dollars (about 460,000 euros), which means that the investment in 208 cm high Saric - where NBA scouts fascinated - not exactly a huge risk. Of course, if a young player who reminds experts Toni Kukoc serve health.
'With Cibona I agree that I can go to the NBA after each of the four years of the contract, and if you'll have this summer to have a guarantee that I will be chosen among the top ten in the NBA draft - I'll report back. What did I pick a senior, everyone will be on a larger profit, and if I am elected low, we all lose. It's like gambling, because compensation is not fixed, but is expressed as a percentage, "said the Saric of which is managed by the agency XL (poplar & Drakulic) who was once a great job done by Zoran Planinic in 2003. bio 22. was 22nd pick na draftu (New Jersey Nets). the draft pick (New Jersey Nets).
i started reading that out loud and realized it sounded like i had down syndrome
If there was a better internet translation, I would have given it. I thought the important point of how this impacts his draft thought process came across well enough. If he is a top ten pick, he will stay in (probably indicating that he will declare) but otherwise will stay there for a few years. I do think that he will leave no later than the third year (2015) because I am sure that the club would rather get a buyout.
I Noticed that you don't have Dario Saric among your Mock Picks for 2013....
So are you saying he wont get drafted?
From what I have read, it has not come across to me that Dario and his father were originally eyeing this coming draft. I couldn't find the old Saric thread (which is why I started the new one obviously) where there were numerous quotes from his father about not wanting his son to get lost by bringing him along too quickly (whether it was with a Barca, Real Madrid, or the NBA) and that they wanted him to spend this year in the Adriatic League, next year in Spain, and then if all goes well the NBA the following. I tend to believe that mentality will still hold.
He didn't sign, but said he made his decision and Cibona is his choce and he hopes tomorow it will all end
He answerd to todays media reports that his negotions broke because some parts
Anyway, acording to him he will sign 4 year contract with NBA option after evrey year. He said he will be in draft this year if he gets garanted top 10 draft picks. It's because Cibona does not have money for his buyout from Zagreb so "secret investor" (balkan style :) ) paid his transfer and will get NBA buyout and 10% of his future contract.
Today officially signed 4 year contract with option to leave after evrey season
If he declares for the 2014 draft, it will officially be the best draft since 2003. Seriously with him, Mario Hezonja and the 2013 HIgh School class it's bound to be a legendary draftclass
