trapgamesolidParticipantI like how the Thunder been playing so far. The biggest question marks for me coming into the playoffs for them was how Waiters and Kanter would be contributing, but it seems like they’ll be able to consistently produce and help alleviate the scoring load off Westbrook and Durant.
Also their defense has looked much improved. Overall, I think OKC has a pretty good chance to get to the finals this year if they keep playing this way, especially if Curry doesn’t get back to 100% before the Conference finals. Once they get there, I’m sure they can win it all. What do you guys think?

BiggysmallsParticipantKanter is going to have a hard time staying on the court against the Spurs. His defense isn’t great. Though offensively, he can help them.
I think people need to evaluate OKC beating Dallas in the same way they evaluate the Spurs beating Memphis. Neither should mean anything. Neither team had any chance in either series. Both teams did what they were supposed to do.
Should be a great series between OKC and SA. Pretty evenly matched teams. I’ll go Spurs in 6.

trapgamesolidParticipantThe thunder did close out the season strong after the all-star break. They’ve been playing consistent basketball. Leonard on Durant is definitely the matchup to watch, but I like the Thunder’s chances if waiters and kanter can produce consistently.

halfdecayedParticipantSpurs in 6 or 5, I didn’t think OKC looked that good against Dallas, they dropped 1 game and it was a tight game last night until the 3 minute mark or so.. Green on Westbrook, Leonard on Durant.. I don’t see OKC winning more than 2 games honestly.

stealsgaloreParticipantI think a lot of this series will come down to how the Spur’s role players shoot the ball. I think Aldridge and Leonard will be able to get their looks and score consistenly. I also think Leonard will make it tough for Durant.
If Danny Green, Patty Mills, Boris Diaw, and Manu can shoot and score with consistency I think the Spurs will win without a ton of trouble. Those players haven’t been overly consistent (especially Danny Green) shooting the ball. But if they can it will really open up the floor for the stars and make OKC’s lesser defenders actually have to play defense. If they don’t shoot well and OKC can collapse on Leonard/Aldridge then I think it will go 6/7 games with the Thunder winning.
I think the same goes for OKC. If ibaka and Waiters and Kanter are scoring and te Spurs can’t focus on Durant/Westbrook then OKC will gain the advantage.

jacobkeyParticipantAre Westbrook and Leonard.
The Spurs have no natural answer for Westbrook. He HAS to exploit that advantage and he also needs to try to stay in front of Tony Parker and make him a jump shooter.
Other than the obvious (guarding Durant) I think Kawhi has a legitimate chance to score a lot of points in this series. OKC gets lazy a lot wth their perimeter defense.
I’ll say OKC in a TIGHT 6 games.

VintageKobeParticipantI think it comes down to KD and his will to win. As good as Kawhi and Westbrook have been this year, KD is still the one who has top 5 alltime potential. He has said he’s felt forgotten this year after being injured last year. Well here is his chance to let people know. He’s got to dig deep, get tougher and will his team to a series win vs an amazing Spurs team. It’s on him. I think he’ll get it done. OKC in 6

halfdecayedParticipantwow lol, didn’t realize how overrated OKC was on here.. These guys always just collapse in tight games at the end of the 4th quarter, and expect to see alot of that vs the Spurs who can actually play as a team..

HitsterParticipantThe Thunder having all their roster sound this season had the potential to be a 60 plus win team and are a younger unit than the Spurs. But the Spurs still won 12 more games than them in regular season and this is with limiting the minutes of key players.
We always said the Spurs tended to up their game in the play offs and even if the Spurs had a worse regular season record we could never discount them. This year they had their best ever regular season too.
The Thunder probably need to dictate the tempo and make the games high scoring to take Gregg Poppovich go to an alternate game plan. If the game stays tight the Spurs will look to stiffle Durant and KD and exploit their own more experienced bench.
I would favour the Spurs to win in about 6 games personally.

Jr. ROXASParticipantI feel Diaw will be the key in this series for the Spurs. His unorthodox dribble-drive game will drive OKC’s bigs crazy, especially Kanter and Ibaka.
