bigblackNbeautifulParticipantWhat ever happened to good ole omar. I wish he was going to be drafted. One of the better personalitys I have seen in the basketball world!
Does he get drafted? By who? Does he play euro? D league? Where ever he goes I will always remember him for going into beast mode. and be a fan, I hope a team takes a chance on him to be a third string center and a great asset to your locker room.

Durantula-35ParticipantI don’t think he’ll be drafted, but he’ll probably sign, stay in the D-league for a few years then go over to Europe

PureshooterParticipantHe reminds me of Sean May, only slower and less athletic. Euroleague, says I.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI think if I was the Lakers, I would draft him. He’s only 22 I believe.
Why not send him to the NBDL and let him grow there then after the 2-3 seasons, bring him up as a backup?

JNixonParticipantHis ceiling is as a 3rd string C. He’s not likely to make it, but he should play overseas or in the D-League for a while.

plasticmanParticipantSkilled, but terrible in terms of physical attributes…very slow with too much fat and not enough muscle. I think he will be a very good player in Europe which is a great accomplishment.
If he wants to play in the NBA he needs to do major work on his body, the kind that takes a few years.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantIt would not be crazy for someone to take him in the 2nd round and try to get him to lose weight and gain pro experience in Europe for a year or two. If someone was to look at a picture of Marc Gasol at the 2006 World Championships and then again now, it would be like looking at two different people. The same for Udonis Haslem. It is possible for him to improve his body, maybe not likely but possible.
The problem for him making a team next year is that the worst kind of player to have not play is one who struggles with his fitness. He would not be a good candidate to be a 3rd string center who plays 10 minutes every other game, because they have always gotten themselves into shape by playing.
