delfamParticipantVia realgm.com, John Salmons will be opting out of his contract and entering free agency.
Thoughts on where he goes and impact on draft.
I think a reunion with Chicago would be good for both sides and with him leaving might force Milwakeuee to get Henry or Anderson.

R-Dot-13ParticipantLooks like Henry is gonna be a Buck.

JazzinSLCParticipantFor the Bucks. He’s a very underrated player, who turned that team around when he came in that mid-season deal last year. He seemed to fit in really well.

JazzinSLCParticipantIf both Monroe and Davis are off the board at number 9. Anderson should still be available though I would think.

OhCanada-ParticipantI see Milwakee drafting a Big in the 1st round and a Crawford,Stephenson type in the 2nd to show they are ommitted to Salmons.

SpencerIsHawesome2ParticipantSalmons could go to Boston, assuming Allen is gone

delfamParticipanthe might still want to stay with Milwakuee but by opting out can get a bigger contract, so I agree drafting a big would be a good idea to show they have confidence in him.

MagikKnickParticipantThat screwed the bulls last season, by not drafting a guard they thought they were showing faith in Ben Gordon, and he still decided to go

bucksfan74ParticipantThey offered him a 3yr extension at 7mil per – plus the 5.6mil he was due this coming season. – and he turned it down.
Some team will give him 10mil+ a year for a few years…… which is way more than Milw is willing to give him.

the I in winParticipantHe won’t get 10 million but I think some team will over pay him. When did the offer the extension?

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantThe Bulls wanted Gordon to leave… they never even made him an contract offer.

McDunkinim not sure what their cap is looking like but i hope he looks at the spurs as a place to go

llperezI dont see salmons getting 10 mill per in todays nba. I think the 7 mill is right on point but he probably just wanted to play the market and see whats out there. Lots of teams could use him. Boston, Cleavland, Atlanta(if johnson leaves) and Phoenix all stand out to me as good destinations.
As for the Bucks, they could go with a sg or pf in the draft and should basically just take the best avialable of the two positions.

Mr. 19134ParticipantThe Bucks are getting Maggette, so they can go big or not in the first round but they are obviously not committed to Johnny Boy.
The Bucks line up so far actually looks really good as long as Redd is really healthy
Jennings (can drop 50 ne given night)
Redd (good for 20 points a game)
Maggette (good for 20 points a game)
Patterson or Whiteside?
BogutThats alot of offense but Redd is probably gone.

RicoParticipantHe is a backup plan for the Clippers/Knicks/Nets if they fail to land James/Joe Johnson/Gay
