gforce03ParticipantHi guys,
Trying to learn how to calculate salary cap here.
According to ESPN Trade Machine, The Kings has -8.5m cap room as of now with the following guys coming off the book this off season:
Derrick Williams (6.3m) / Andre Miller (4.6m) / Reggie Evans (1.8m) / Ryan Hollins (1m)
Does that mean they will have around 5m of cap space in the off season or there’s more math to it?
Thanks in advance!

HitsterParticipantBased on the current season’s salary cap that maths calculation looks right but a lot will depend on what the salary cap level is set at for next season. The consensus is that it rise from $63 million to around $67 million with luxury tax being at about $81.5 million next season.
The Kings will have their 6th pick guy to fit in but I’d guess they would have between $11 and $12 million cap space pre any deals they do in the summer.
