    HE ALMOST HAD A TRIPLE DOUBLE THE OTHER NIGHT BUT HAD A TRIPLE DOUBLE TONIGHT. I STILL THINK DERRICK ROSE IS THE BEST POINT GUARD OF THE 2008 CLASS BUT RUSSEL WESTBROOK IS REALLY CLOSE. THIS IS KINDA OFF THE TOPIC OF THE TITLE BUT POINT GUARDS ARE GOING TO SHOW OUT THIS DECADE.

    cmon man figure it out.

    Anyways…yeah point guards are definitly becoming more offensive minded nowadays. The NBA is all about high pick and roll now and spreading the floor with more athletic players and spot up shooters. Point guards are in complete control of an offense and most of the time, they control the ball and either score it or dish to a guy who can shoot or dunk. Gone are the days where point guards are just there to “control the pace” and get their team organized. Most of them are much more prominent in the scoring department now. Its a shame…there really arent many “pass first point guards anymore.

    you guys are acting like its not exciting anymore…its more fun to watch guard play…its not fun to watch post up players much..unless someones gettin a facial…i mean we got players like lebron, wade, melo, durant, paul, there..i like where we are right now in the game

    Lebron at point would be such a waste unless you have a 3 that can shoot. He already has the ball all the time anyways but he gets to guard lesser opponets most games. If he was at point he would have to play D every night which would be tiresome. Also he wouldn’t get on as many leak out fast breaks.
