Rumors/Trade Talk

Hedo headed to Portland or Toronto. Portland with a slight edge right now.

Gordon in Detroit right now discussing a big contract.

The Rockets interested in Gortat. A lot of teams are going after Gortat including the Knicks & Pacers.

Amare doesn't want to play for Golden State.

The Suns still thinking about trading for Tyson Chandler.

Spurs & Suns both interested in Odom.

Miller to Portland, Blake to the 76ers, in a sign & trade.

A future draft pick, Dalembert, & Willie Green to the Rockets for Tracy McGrady.

Cleveland says Varejao is their top priority.

Villanueva going to sign with Detroit? Chances are they offer him more money than Cleveland.

I told yall....Garnett is talking to Rasheed...Wallace is coming to Boston I have a feeling.

Don't worry about Kidds' trip to New York. More than likely Jason stays with the Mavs.

The Nuggets are pursuing Grant Hill. Boston is also somewhat interested.

Right now it looks like Birdman is likely to stay in Denver.

David Lee wants to play for a winner.

The Nuggets have already had a meeting with Channing Frye...seems like a good fit.

New Orleans is very interested in Brandon Bass...they also are thinking about bringing back Jannero Pargo

Eyenga will play for the Cavs summer league team.

Cleveland could sign both Varejao & Villanueva. Use the MLE on Charlie & the Bird Rights for Varejao. Wow

I wonder why Philly wants to

I wonder why Philly wants to trade for McGrady? They have Iguodala who is better then T-mac in this stage of his career and Thaddeus Young is like 21 years old and has a huge future ahead of him. Are they going to Young the sixth man for a year?

Philly doesn't necessarily

Philly doesn't necessarily want McGrady but he makes a lot of since trade wise because.....the 76ers desperately want to get rid of Dalembert however no one wants to take his contract. But a team like the Rockets who need help at Center would likely take Dalembert if they get rid of McGradys contract in the process. You gotta admit that this trade makes Philly better. I like Thaddeus a lot but yeah chances are he would come off the bench as a great 6th man for one year. The trade is somewhat of a longshot but I did read about it.

Tha King2121.......Boston

Tha King2121.......Boston doesn't think about the future haha seriously. Lee has no playoff experience. They need a proven veteran that can blend in with their current team and help immediately win a title. Celtics are still trying to re-sign Big Baby also.

Actually I think Philly would do that trade in a heartbeat if the Rockets agreed. They reallly really want to get rid of Dalembert.

Also it seems like Milsap is not going to be in Utah next year. I can't believe the Thunder are going to offer him that much money. He likely goes to Oklahoma City. If I was the Thunder I wouldn't sign him. What happens to Jeff Green? Their are better free agents....I would go after Lee, because he can play some minutes at the Center position. I just don't think Milsap is worth the kind of money they are reportedly offering him.

rockets

I think they shouldnt rebuild even with Yao out of the picture, they just arent young enough, Brooks and Landry are good but not players you build a franchise on, Artest is a FA, i think he should be re-signed, Shop T-Mac and if you get a good enogh deal like the 76er rumor then trade him, then sign a big-name FA like Lee or Gortat

that rockets trade is awful

that rockets trade is awful for the rockets. Dalembert is not bad but i would never accept him and willie green for tmac, even if that draft pick is a 2010 first rounder. they do need major help at center but i dont see dalembert as the answer. plus if they are pursuing gortat they will prob overpay for him, and why overpay for someone you will put on the bench if you do get dalembert? i hope morey doesnt pull the trigger on that one. plus if they can get that injury money for yao if hes out for the season they can sign a decent backup and start gortat. Maybe Oberto if he's bought out, I think Rasho is a FA too. Not great players but cant do much else besides put a bandaid on the situation until you know for sure how Yao's situation will play out.

As for Millsap

I totally agree. When I heard my Thunder are pursuing Millsap the only thing I thought of was "wtf?". Thunder clearly don't need another power forward(Green, White, Collison, Krstic plays PF sometimes and then theres Ibaka) especially one that can't play Center. This pushes Jeff Green to a 6th man position, so their building core is completely thrown out of wack, and with Green being the 2nd or 3rd best on the team, having him come off the bench makes little sense, he's not Manu Ginobili. David Lee would be the far greater choice because he can play Center. Heck he could even start at Center if Thunder wanted. That would be a pretty small and fast lineup with Lee, Green, Durant, Westbrook, and Harden/Thabo/Mason whoever gets the SG spot.
