 At late stages of the game he becomes predictable and shoots too much. He needs a ball handle dominant PG who will get him his shot instead of the 1 on 1 pull up. Melo needs to except a decoy role as well.

 Melo fits with Chicago IF they keep Gibson. Gibson helping Noah rebound some of Melo’s long range shots resulting from Rose’s penetration would be problematic for opponents, among other reasons. Love might be a better fit but Melo would be lethal too. Hmm. Until Rose is healthy and at top form for an entire season again then I don’t think his opinion will hold the same importance as it once did.

 Melo would fit well into Thibs system, he runs a bit of flex and some princeton.. Very similar to the Triangle.. Reason why rose wouldnt want Melo on the roster is for the sole fact that when Melo has the ball it would literally make Derrick play off of it on the other side.. which would change how Rose scores the ball. Melo would be on one side of the floor and rose on the other.. the thing is with that offense you have a guy like Noah who could split both of them and could make a very dangerous tandem.. with Noah you could run high ball screens and hand offs to Rose and when the Defense closes on rose that leaves Melo almost wide open.. 

Melo and Rose with Noah’s passing could make a very dangerous offense over time.. Derrick Rose just needs to see the big picture.

 You guys are over analyzing this. Love and rose are good friends and workout together in the offseason at times. I wouldnt read any further into it than that.

It has a lot more to do with just being friends bud… lol I think derrick rose would much rather play Pick and Roll basketball with Love (The same type of offense he played at Memphis with Cal) over having to play second fiddle to melo when Melo has the ball in his hands..
