Rumor: Pierce and Bradley for Gordon?

Not sure if true or not but just saw it pop up and wondered would you?

If Gordon can prove he is healthy I personally like the trade for both sides.

The Celtics would have Rondo, Gordon, Green, Sullinger, Draft a C since KG would be gone or sign one.

The Pelicans Burke/Vasquez, Bradley, Pierce, Davis, Lopez or Len and 6th man Anderson

I like this trade for both

I like this trade for both teams but like you said Gordon has to prove he is healthy. Now he could just be faking his injury since he didn't want to play for hornets/pelicans in the first place. He wanted to stick with the Clippers. Unfortunately he didn't get his wish but that doesn't mean he should quit and fake an injury. what is he pouting. What a baby.
I don't think teams are going to like that, plus if teams do believe he is hurt then teams aren't going to be so willing to trade for him because he is injured and has never proved that he can stay healthy ever since he got traded to the Hornets/Pelicans. So I believe in the end the pelicans will have to settle trading him for lesser value or amnesty him if that doesn't work.

I don't think Danny Ainge

I don't think Danny Ainge will be that shrewd, Paul will probably retire a Celtic. Highly unlikely that he will be dealt.

I agree. What about Jeff

I agree. What about Jeff Green? And drafting a 3 in the draft? Or is Green to valuable to trade for Gordon?

If that trade happens it just

If that trade happens it just shows that the Pelicans are desperate to get rid of Eric Gordon and his contract since the thought was Paul Pierce would never play for the Pelicans. Avery Bradley is a tough player and would be useful for the Pelicans.

This is directed to any "Can

This is directed to any "Can Eric Gordon stay healthy?" questions.

To be honest, Eric Gordon is as good as the Celtics are going to get with Paul Pierce at this point of his career. Now, whether or not Eric Gordon can stay healthy will be a problem but I think we can all see Pierce retiring after the 13-14 season. Even if Eric Gordon plays 60 games a season, it's much better to have Gordon than to not have anything at all in the post-Big3 era.

Max

You do realize you are paying him max money? You would be satisfied with 60 games?

Even without a "no trade

Even without a "no trade clause", Pierce will not agree to be moved to a team unless they'll become a title contender. He may also prefer to be dealt along with KG. At this point in his career, a team will not want to bring Pierce along unless he wants to be there.

I agree w/ PHX. They have a decent team and think they are a great perimeter shooter away from being a playoff team. The fact is, they suck at drafting. Off the top of my head, the last 1st round picks, many lotto picks, are Marshall, Morris, Lopez, Clark. None actually worked out, although I think Morris can be a serviceable player. Their only success was rebuilding on the fly when they brought in Nash and Joe Johnson. I think they are looking for a magical signing and may be willing to give up a lot for Gordon. Do you think PHX will give up #5 for Gordon? They seem to value him a lot.

They do like Gordon that

They do like Gordon that much. They have great medical staff so it does seem like bit of a win-win for the suns and Gordon (if your hampered with injuries wouldn't you want to go somewhere where they have the best medical staff available ?)

If the suns had a top 3 or 4 pick and had the chance to take mclemore or dipo i think they would draft them but since its the 5th pick, most likely they will be gone so they would trade the pick for gordon.
