Rudy Gay went for 41 tonight on 25 shots. So far, it’s looking like that trade was a win-win. Raptors tearing it up of course, and while the Kings are just 9-11 since Gay come aboard, keep in mind that they were 6-14 before and have won 5 of their last 7.

I really hope that the Kings can keep him for a reasonable amount if his play continues to be this efficient over the next season and a half. He is the first solid offensive and defensive SF the Kings have had in a long time.

Cousins,Gay & Thomas are the 2nd highest scoring trio in the league, averaging 58 points a game..

Maybe getting traded twice and seeing those teams do better after you leave, will give Rudy motivation to play consistent & up to his potential..This month he’s shooting 55% fg ,94% ft and 3 assts….

I will admit that I have been wrong about Rudy Gay so far. I thought he would be a flop in Sac Town but he is playing well and I do think he is playing well because of a lot of attention on Cousins, just like in Memphis there was Gasol and Randolph. Gay was a good guy, but couldn’t handle being the go to player in Toronto. Wish him the best, but I am glad my Raptors are playing well. But as of late, should we trade DeRozan/Lowry? Or should we continue to build on this team? I don’t want to see the Raptors being a treadmill team.

I’m really happy to see something actually working out for Sacramento.  I miss the Bibby-Christie-Peja-Webber-Divac teams.

Agreed, easily the best team never to win a ‘ship.

Really starting to like this trade for the Kings.  Rudy always was a very versatile player, just needed to score more efficiently.  Nobody expects him to shoot 60% like Lebron but if he can just shoot close to 45% he is an absolute stud.  At the very least this Kings team is really fun to watch.
