I am wondering who you guys think is better Rubio or Irving? I have seen them both play and I am impressed with both, here are there states

    Irvings – 13.3 ppg  6 Apg  4 rpg 1.3 steals  26.7 mpg FG .375

    Rubio – 8.0 ppg 7.3 apg  4.7 rpg  1.3 steals 28.3 mpg  FG.615

Irving has the edge in scoring, but he shoots more shots and he shoots a lower percent then Rubio. and every other state Rubio is a little bit better. So who do you think is better? Who would you rather have running the point for your team? Which one of these two is more likely to win Rookie of the Year? And who do you think will be better in years to come?

while irving has been playing with boys  rubios been playing with men for awhile now he has the edge on experience  and the defense doesnt show up in the stats whereas irving is likely to hit a rookie wall  rubio is no rookie in essence.

and were going to have to rename  minny  winny  that idiot david kahn that people have been all over, all he has seen in players is positive potential and once that potential starts being realized  minn is going to start being scary

They could be good right now though if he made some wiser moves.

Irving is better overall and has a higher potential. Rubio is a better passer thats about it.

Irving easy. Don’t be fooled by his FG% or jump shot in the first few games, he has a much better shooter than this and most point guards out there. He actually has a really good 3 point shot as well. Kyrie has almost everything, he has amazing speed, great jumper, great attack and drive to the bucket, he is a play maker and great court vision and pass. This kid will be a star.

@silenciizgolden I don’t quite agree with your statement "while irving has been playing with boys rubios been playing with men" I don’t think this will borther Kyrie as he has already shown is ready and willing to go to the rim and attack the bigger NBA bodies. He is showing no fear, even after being blocked a few times already and knocked to the floor.

It’s a lot easier to play with Kevin Love, Michael Beasley, Wes Johnson and Derrick Williams than playing with Varejao, Casspi, and Parker.

Irving is by far the better player and prospect of the two, Rubio has a lot more pieces around him than Irving at the moment and playing with men is different for Irving since he basically went from high school, about 1/3 of a college season, a short preseason, and now the NBA.

He’s just getting used to it.
